No more holo-grinding image designer, or using ID to grind apprenticeship points for that matter.

Those who have been using /imagedesignSetValue hair_color X to grind are in for a nasty surprise. It no longer gives experience. Only image design from the radial gives experience. Whether this is an intentional nerf to ID grinding or a bug remains to be seen.

Nice, now its become the longest profession ever. I'm glad I macro'ed it and ruined the game for all the real players (sorry guys, you can kill my Jedi when I get it, I'll even make it a wookiee for you)

This is garbage. Cool let everyone grind ID in 2 hrs ... and then screw the rest of us that havent done it yet. I can understand doing this when the quest system goes life...but now you have just put half the population that is still grinding at a disadvantage to all the guys that have already holo grinded ID. Thanks devs! I guess once again only some people deserve the easy way while the others that pay the same amount of $$$ get screwed.

*growing sick of this game and all the dev's BS*

OMG! Good thing the devs stopped people from grinding ID in 2 hours! Now the integrity of the profession is saved!

Seriously, this change only damages the game. We're ending hologrinding in 2 months anyway, so what's the harm in allowing a profession to be mastered quickly? People WILLNOT grind Master ID just to work on themselves -- it's too much of a skill point drain, plus there's the time spent grinding back to your original skill set.

All this change does is create a Image Designer 'elite' much worse than we have with crafters & their experimentation tapes.

Whens this new id xp gaining system coming into place? Don't tell me it already has!

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, 'How can we do this and not make another EQ?' We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen." - Julio Torres
