I finally decidedI'm going to write some /alias to use when IDing, and figured you fellow IDers may already have some great ones you like to share. Here is what Ihave so far.

/alias XXX Would you like your hair cut short, long, or shoulder length?

/alias XXX /r I'll be with you as soon as I can, I'm with anther customer.

/alias XXX Sorry, the dyes needed to do wild hair color have not been found. So there is no image designer in the galaxy that can do them.

For a while now I've been meaning to make one that runs something like:

/g I have no set fees. Whatever you feel is apropriate for my time will be more than sufficient.

And another that says:

/g As I said, whatever you feel is apropriate will suffice.

(They always ask "is that enough?")

I have a set that I use when I get a new customer. I call it the standard disclaimer set. It's a series of group says that explains about the nasty "0 slider bug" and that if it happens, I will be happy to sit with them and fine tune the adjustments for the effected change(s) until they are happy. I make sure they understand.Included in the set is also the explanation about the hair colour bugs. This has headed off a lot of potentially upsetting situations at the pass as it were. A lot of first time to ever use the services of an ID people have been grateful that I take the time to explain the "dangers" up front.

I get that alot too, and usually the person tips >5k for a 30s session so I'd add one that says:

/g That's splendid, thank you! That's much more than I would have asked for!

/g I have a 2k startup feeand you can tipat the end whatever you feel is apropriate for my time will be more than sufficient.

/g OOC: I did work off just tips but because to many players love to grief or just not tip, I now have a set startup fee

Ah, see, that's why I have a denial of service list sitting on my desk. Stiff me? Fine, not that big a deal…I'll just make sure you never get ID or tailoring from me, or my business partners, or any services from any other crafter I know. Muwahahaha. I can be evil.
