But I just did. On myself. By accident. And fixed it back too. Is this new "fixed" code with the trickle in for the next patch or did I stumble on a workaround or... have I misunderstood what it is we haven't been able to change?
This is what happened...
I created my ID char as a small Asian featured female human. Eyes dark and very uptilted. Here is the before picture, taken months ago, right after creation...

A couple of weeks ago, a friend and I were grinding a few boxes in ID for my char, using a macro borrowed from another friend. I did the ID on her char, and the macro worked just fine (despite the two of us getting too involved with just chatting and I forgot to watch my hams and incapped myself a few times when the muon wore off, Ha.) Here is the macrowe used..

I went to use this macro on myself tonight. Popped some muon and some Fishak (can't afford Brandy atm) targeted myself and started the macro. Then I freaked out. Xian's eye shape changed! They went to the shape of my friend's eyes on her character; where the outer corners are downturned all the way (soulful, sad looking eyes, but NOT what I wanted for Xian.) Ruined! My ongoing role play and my whole image ruined and I can't fix it! I was freaking out. Headshot, after the accident...

I dumped the macro immediately. I tried typing in the command manually. Nothing. No change. /imagedesignsetvalue eye_shape# -- trying a new number each time, just to see if there was any change. Nothing. I thought maybe it's because I don't have the capitalizations correct in the command. So I tried /imagedesignSetValue Eye_Shape # Nothing.
I knew I was doing something wrong, but I also knew we weren't supposed to be able to change eye shape?! I took a deep breath and tried again. Duh. I forgot the /image part had to come first... /image;/imagedesignsetvalue eye_shape
And the box popped up to choose face or hair, etc., and I clicked on the eye shape box and it showed me the slider, which was at 0. I moved it all the way to 255, where my eyes looked like they had before, with the Asian uptilt. I clicked accept. My eye shapechanged back to my original eyes. Fixed headshot...

I logged out for a while (a bit shaken) and when I logged back in, my eyes were still "fixed." So. Did this eye shape thing get stealth fixed or did I just not understand what about eye shape we couldn't alter before? Or did I stumble onto a workaround? Heh, if so, what did I do to make it work!?
P.S. While recovering from the shock, I again, was not paying attention to my hams and am incapped, lying under a table. Darn spice. LOL.

Part of the mysterious Eye Shape bug is that our ID interface calls the Eye Angle modifier something else, in this case, Eye Shape. When you changed your character, you changed her eye angle, using the shape command. Your eye shape mod never changed.

Ah ha! Thank you for clearing that up for me! I'd forgotten I could do both angle and shape at creation. So, in the interface, shape is an option, but actually changes angle, and angle is not an option, and so we can't change shape. Heh. Makes perfect sense. ![]()
At least I'm over my panic now. And no more muon for me!
