Don't you hate it when you've spent lots of time with a client, getting that perfect look only to have them cancel the session?
Wouldn't it be nice if only we, the image designer, could cancel the session? Sure this would cause some problems but after explaining my prices, doing a session and then having them cancel because they have changed their mind or they clicked it "accidentaly"... damm it annoys the hell out of me!!
One person kept cancelling the session because the GUI window didn't update when she changed her clothing... grrrrrrr......

This happens to me repetatively.
Worse two cases I've had were overts needing stat migration. Got down to about a minute before the Rebels found them.
I no longer do stat mods for overt players.

Um... you kinda have to be grouped to initiate an ID session, so unless you routinely group with the people who are trying to kill you I don't think this is an issue

That said, no, the ID shouldn't be the only one to start the ID session, imagine the possible griefage. In the GCW, ID run around /imagedesigning folks like Combat Medics so that they have this huge window blocking their screen that they can't remove.

Bah Logic!
Logic is bad! yay!
Although really, aside from that, I think especially given the size of the screen, the client should be able to "back out" on their own without hte ID's help. Heaven forbid an ID goes AFK or decides to be bitter with a specific client after being insulted over the price of stat migration and just leave them stuck with an ID screen open.

Easy solution! Disbanding group, or moving out of range of the ID still cancels for the client. There would just be no client-side 'Cancel' button.

I think there should be something done about people 'looking' at new styles and having you spend half an hour IDing them only for them to end the session and not pay anything for your time.
I don't believe the devs will be looking at our profession again for several months- so until then I suggest image designers start requiring an up-front service fee- and perhaps refund part depending on services rendered.

Erm, I'm not that harsh myself. Wasn't that harsh back when browsing was a PITA either.
Not saying it isn't a good idea, just not something I think I'd like to do myself
I'd just blacklist them if they made a habit of it, and given how frustrating it is to find an ID at all right now, I feel it works

I'd just warn folks if they're overt. And tell them they'd be going to the end of the line if it breaks. Same with pretty much any cancel.
Jedi should just schedule a private session in the Middle of Nowhere/Vreni
