However awesome that sounds, doubt it the name thing will ever happen even if it was only a temp change due to numerous related issues. But I like the idea of being able to give someone a temporary disguise that wears off in a given amount of time. Would be even better if we we're allowed to give these temp disguises in the form of a different species. I think the species appearance is somehow deeply hard coded with the HAM bar ranges so that probably won't happen either.

A shadowy character comes to see the Image designer at the salon, pretending to askfor a migration... under the cover of the/groupchat, he actually ordersa commandfor a disguise... Pulling a few string, a bounty hunter whose face was conviently redrawn helpin stalkingthe PCto copy.From a dirty sideway street,the Image designerpulls out a discreet gizmo from a sleeve pocket... and /imageMemorize the person's bioparameter.

Cautiously returning to the salon under a late night rain, the Image designer stops to the bazar to buy some cheepo plastics, some wool and a few pigments. by the morning the ordered disguise will be ready and someone's life will become really confused.

Being an image designer isnt about the power to layruinon a battlefield... untilone creates convincing doubles of both Squad Leaders. People gives too much importance to appearance, anyway.

Anybody ever consider the possibility of disguise? I was thinking today about how cool it'd be if you could get an Image Designer to temporarily give you a new name, look, and even cover/alter your faction affiliation while overt. At the very least this could help smugglers if they ever decide to let them actually "smuggle" something by the authorities, or help jedi hide from bounty hunters.

Yeah. I've seen proposals for Smuggler disguises and Jedi disguises (to help escape a BH, of course).

I hope they do something like this, but man I can only imagine the tell hell that would cause our small ranks!
