Hello Rhyno,

I do not condone grinding out this wonderful profession. Take yoru time and enjoy it. Explore its magic, you may even find out you LOVE it! However, the easiest way to get design xp is to as an entetainer while they are dancing or playing if you can work on them. They dont need to sit, and as long as you dont change thier looks they will let you practice on them most of the time.

To practice ID on a person without changing thier looks is simple:

Step one: target your victim, er volunteer and type /image ultimately make a macro
Step two: Select lip color; a box will show up with a slider bar... DONT move the slider bar... instead just hit committ

Step three: the entertainer should accept and you get xp, almost twice as much as if you IDed yourself.

Good luck

Oh, and fix the entertainer profession....

First step: Migrate your stats to your mind. Completely remove your health and/or action stats, and get all three mind stats as high as they possibly can go.

Now: Go to a cantina. Get a master musician to buff you (do the musician first). Get a master dancer to buff you. (Yes they will probably want donations, but its a lot cheaper than muon gold, and it lasts for 2 hours).

Find someone to click on...dancers or musicians are usually game, as long as they dont have a really nice hairstyle that you cant give back to them. Now, image design them. Generally, the best change that I have found is eye color (and its also very easy to set back if you set it wrong). There are macros to make this faster, or even just lining up your boxes to be able to click all in the same space. Also note the command /image will open an image design interface on yoru current target, without needing to radial menu them.

Hope that helped,

Heh, you're telling someone who wants to unlock their force sensitive slot and who never chose the profession on their ownto take his time enjoy the work through the skill levels? Lol. I doubt that is about the least the poster insteads to do and wants to hear.

Anway, back to the topic. I mainly work on myself as well, due to a lack of willing guinea pigs. Best thing to do is to stock up on muon gold, caf and omachek (or other mind buffing food), and use an ID macro. I'm using the eyeshadow color to grind xp cause the lower level skills seem to have a much better ex gained/mind drained ratio than the higher skills, though I know others go with the higher level stuff. I use an /image; /imagedesignSetValue eyeshadow 1; /ui action toolbarSlot 00; macro, which works very well. Don't use any /pause commands for it, and it'll be very fast. When you run out of mind, just type in /dump to stop the macro. Muon gold will incap you if your mind pool is too low when the downer hits you, but it's still such a BIG increase it's best to chain toss it when grinding. Also, grind in a cantina, listen to a musician and watch a dancer while grinding and sit down. if there are master entertainers around, you can also get mind buffs from them. Oh yeah, the only downside to the macro seems to be that you can bug yourself on occasion. Maybe due to the spam the server gets confused or something, I'm not sure what exactly happens - but sometimes it'll tell you that you already have an outstanding image design offer, even though you don't have a consent window active . I haven't found any way of fixing that. If you're lucky, logging out for 10 mins may fix it, but it doesn't always seem to work. Logging for a few hours has always fixed it for me though.

Oh and - note that you *have* to actually target yourself with Ctrl + 1 if you want to use a macro, else it won't work.
