Could anybody tell me how can I remove or avoid the "outstanding image desing offer" bug?. Thanks.

this did not resolve my issue the outstanding image design thing still appears

The only other thing is to log out for a very long time or wait until the server reset I assume you double checked the instructions for the workaround?

Btw, this bug is very likely to happen if you are macroing through ID with very small or no pauses between ID offers... It seems to be linked with the time out feature failing if the system is spammed with too many offers and/or if the recipient misses them.

This is from NJ62's FAQ

Read below the quoted section for my issue - Thanks =)

Q: my partner has an outstanding image design offer. What is that and how do I fix it?


A: That usually happens when you spam a macro too quickly for your partner to keep up with accepting, or when one of you goes LD during a design. The following fix may work, but this is a tricky and annoying bug.



  • If your partner has an outstanding offer:

    • target self using control-1
    • type /im
    • target partner
    • type /imagedesignSetValue blah blah
    • partner accepts

  • If you have the outstanding offer

    • target partner
    • type /im
    • target self using control-1
    • type /imagedesignSetValue blah blah
    • you accept

Note this doesn't end the bug, it just passes the bug. The only known fix is a server reset





OK - I have tried the above steps and it still says that I have an outstanding offer. Does anyone know of anything else that might fix this? (besides the server reset)


The above solution has worked for me before - but it will not this time


If the only way is a server reset - how often do they do that?

The servers are usually reset at 4am PST daily.

Others have reported the workaround working sometimes, and not others

Maybe tomorrow I will be able to practice id on myself hehe...instead of trying to find someone to practice with.


only 2 more boxes to go and then 170 more apprenticeship points.... hehe
