Thread: Image Designers and Player Bounties

If Image Designers are to have a role in PvP, I would propose it be linked into a player bounty system.

After such a bounty is placed, Image Designers can alter a person's features to give a penalty to bounty hunter droid tracking on that given target. The degree to which they were altered affects the penalty.

Even if the full bounty system isn't put in, Image Designers could at the very least help Jedi characters escape from Bounty Hunters.

That is a very creative idea. Perhaps if there were more Jedi bounties it could even be an interesting time trying to hide them. I know that, at least on my server, there aren't many Jedi bounties and when there are and said Jedi finds out, he just logs out before the BH could track him. But maybe if there were PvP bounties? It's something to consider. I guess the point in all this rambling is that I like your idea lots!

Yeah. Like I said, it'd be its most useful if some system of player bounties were possible.

Perhaps even tie it into the smuggling check system. If you get caught with spice or sliced goods too often, you end up on the terminals the same as a Jedi would. It could be a similar "visibility" system.

Interesting concept. But it'd be very tricky to work with. First of all, the amount of ID in the galaxy is already on the low end, probably almost parallel to the amount of jedi. Then, there is the problem in finding the jedi or the jedi knowing he is even being hunted at all. Many factors would make this entire thing far too complicated in my opinion but it is plausible. I'd like to see a more interactive role for Image Designers and this idea has great potential. Just needs to be properly planned/looked at.

Yeah. It'd be best if clients looked for image designers. I'm not sure if Image Designers can even put a waypoint on the planetary map at present. If not, that's a step that needs to happen, even if it's just a barker that comes under an "image design" slot on the map.
