Thread: Make this stupid change a little lest stupid (idea inside, read before yall)

Ok, this is a game.
A game is supposed to be fun.
Click on a button and wait for 5 minutes is not fun, it's not a game, it's windows update.
Why on earth didn't the dev made something like an ID change is required to migrate stat. I mean a real one, like an haircut or a body change.
It would still piss of some people, but would at least allow the ID to do their job, and not windows
update bot.
And customers would at least have something more valuable than 'a click on a button'.
Besides, it would probably have been less work for them...

Ok, seeing the lack of interest on this, I think I was wrong.
The only thing that matters for most ID is just they can now make load of money.
Sad.

Just because people didn't respond to this ridiculous idea, doesn't mean that we are all out to make money with this.
That is an utterly ridiculous accusation, not to mention rude and very insulting.
Yes, you were wrong. Forcing an ID change on someone who merely wants to migrate his stats does absolutely nothing for the profession.

I agree with Zorg. Before this publish, most people never needed an Image Designer, and the profession was not relied upon by players as much as other non-combat professions. I think with everything the newway (stat migration and all the new stuff), people will appreciate the ID's a little bit more.
And by the way, most people choose this profession for fun, and not to make money.

I didn't knew that have a use was the only important thing for IDers...
Just though the launchpad launch button was enough for click-and-wait fun...
Guess I'm always wrong, or don't have the same idea of fun as, hum, some other IDers...
I give up and let you play windowsupdate then.
