Thread: Brown Hair?

Hi, I'm an aspiring ID'er. ActuallyI just have one box in image design for entertainer, so I wont be an ID for a year or so. My question is every single time I change someone's hair style, no matter what color I choose, it comes out as brown once finished. How far in the ID tree do I have to go to change hair color?

It's a bug that should be fixed soon. When you change someone's hair color, it looks like the default color to everyone but the player. I've discovered taht it's not when the player relogs that it goes to normal, but when the viewer relogs.

Not exactly true. If the recipent of the hairstyle logs out to desktop, and stays gone for the time it takes for their avatar to be dropped from view, the hair will be the real color when they log back on.

Thanks for the info, but I think I'm going to drop the profession. The timer's too much of a pain. 2 minutes is kind of a long time to spend just to change someone's hairstyle... which is all I can do currently.
I understand it's to prevent hologrinders, but it also prevents someone who wants to try out a new profession from having fun.
