Here's what I used when I mastered:

/im = this one still works

I'm told there will no longer be a way to macro ID

The ability to macro can be both a blessing and a curse, and in SWG it has been abused far far too much imo.

Professions are supposed to be fun. I think we've all gotten hooked in "have to be master" because they're "best." Remember when we used to just play and have fun, and not grind to master, play a bit, then get bored?

I recommend what Kwee offered and add one other thing: when you feel like working ID, work ID. When you don't want to work ID, then don't.

I am not going to rant on and on about the changes that I like and do not like about the new ID.

However,

WHERE ARE THE COMMANDS FOR MACROS PUBLISHED AT!!!

There is no documentation on what the syntax is for building macros for the new ID profession. This is an integral part of SWG and this needs to be maintained. The current UI has completely disabled the old commands, and there is no errata for the new ones (if there are any that is).

While it is wonderful to be able to role play every action, the current timer make advancing in the ID profession a nearly impossible task. There are times when no customers are available, and you need to work on advancing your skills. This is where a macro comes in. I do not want to have to spend all of my precious time mindlessly clicking on buttons and sliding bars, when I can set up a macro and socialize with my fellow players. Think of it as having a conversation while riding on an exercise bike... you don’t have to pay attention to peddling, you just do it.

Every other profession has the ability to macro at least some portion of their tasks, the Image Designer should not be excluded.

Otherwise, SWG will be in danger of turning into the other tedious game, where you waste countless hours chopping wood.

Me making a macro, to make my grind easier by no means alters your ability to enjoy your grind!

I mean really if i kill 2000 durni afk, how does that affect you?

Also, if their were not master dancers and musicians afk in a cantina I might NEVER get a mind buff!

Your right though macros have ben abused. By player haters hating players who use macros!

............Ok ranting for no reason :-P sorry. Have a good night!

Yeah, unfortunately the macros were nerfed with the last publish... I used to be a dancer/ID in another character and I had built into my dancing macro that my skin would change colors! I loved it! Toobad now, though....
