First a few statements:
1) Master IDs should know more about how to do ID than a non master: This means that they should have either no, or significantly lower timers (think about it, they knew how to shave that nose down out of experience, while a novice ID is picking a scaple up for one of the first times).
2) No one likes spending 120 hours to master a single profession
3) The exp gain is pathetically slow
4) The timer is freakishly annoying
What is the solution? Simple: make the exp stackable (this should have been a no brainer). If i'm an entertainer, all i know is how to dye hair, and i should be stuck dyeing and, later cutting said hair for some time. But, when i cut and dye someone's hair, I did 2 operations, and should get the exp for both. Also, hairstyling IV (entertainer line) costs more exp than novice ID and the same exp as a regular ID tier 1 skill ... so that needs to be fixed. At novice ID, i have more options than as a regular entertainer, and, if i do all those operations, i should get stacked exp (maybe in the thousands?) for all the operations I do. The timer should be kept (afterall, a marksman doesn't get 3k exp every 20 seconds) as it is, but the exp should stack.
Any ideas?
