Thread: Problem for Image designers? Need a hand count :)

I was just thinking, could there be a big problem for the amount of image designers once the Jedi quest comes into play? I mean, think about it, right now to become a jedi u can find out your profession by a holocron. So, i have a question, how many people are here to just grind the image designer tree? Also, how many are planning to stay on image designer? In my opinion, I don't see what is really fun about image designing.. That's in my opinion, yours is probably different. Just wondering who is here for the ride, and who is going to stay for good, that's all

I think you'll find that most of the people who frequent these boards beyond "looking for a grinding macro pls thx" are here to stay.
Your population sample is probably skewed.

Most people who are grinding ID for the FS slot drop it as soon as they are done& move on to the next profession. There may be a few who actually found that they like it & decide to keep it, but I would guess that it's a very small number.
I doubt the FS Quests will effect the ID population much at all. We are more affected by the kind of changes made in the last few publishes that are made without taking our opinions into consideration.

Not to mencin a New Friday feature that explains how to do the function WE DID NOT WANT wrong. The way its done is you set your stats just like you always did. Then we push a button get something to eat for 10 mins (the other person likly does too though there interface is smaller so they CAN chat) then come back and push another botton.

I did ID post-patch for the pure joy of doing the profession. Then aftera few weeks of being a master,I dropped it because I was annoyed with sitting in the tent all day migrating stats. I love Image Designers, just not Image Designing.

I don't see a problem there either. Those grinders don't actually ID, they only grind like they do with basically any professions. So beside the fact that there (hopefully) be no more powergrinders after publish 10 to spam for free stat migrations, there won't be much of an impact. The need for statmigrations will be a bit lower, too due to less frequent profession-changes.
