Thread: I need help from one ID per server :)

Well as you know I had planned to wipe the "ID's by Galaxy" list every few months, and it's getting to be around that time. But honestly, the thought of starting from scratch again horrifies me because it'svery time consuming putting the list together.Here is where I needyour help.


I would be most grateful if one person per server would volunteer to type /addfriend (and /removefriend afterwards if necessary) for every ID listed under their galaxy on the "ID's listed by galaxy thread". If the character no longer exists you get a message saying so when you try to add them to your friend's list. What you type is /addfriend charactername


Also a couple of people are sending an email out to all the ID's listed asking if they are still in the profession. If you'd be up to doing that as well, that would be great Also a nice way to get an ID mailing list going for your galaxy


The steps:


  1. Post here saying which server(s) you are about to work on (please don't post unless you are about to get on the game and do it)

  2. Post a list of names that returned a "there is noone by that name (or whatever it is the msg says) when you tried to add them to your friend's list.

  3. Receive my eternal gratitude

I'll sign onto Eclipse and do that right now.


Edit #1: Although, right now, I can tell you who is definitely still working as an ID on my server based on how often I see them.

Edit #2: Okie doke, I went through the entire list for my server, and every single person listed is still playing. None of them were online, but they still play.

Looks like the bandit strikes again!!! (Not me, btw)


Any all of them on Corbantis are valid, but the reason I checked was because I needed a migration, and they were all offline! Guess, I'll just have to use other means to find one, or wait.

Well I myself am still active, to be honest I haven't seen many other Master IDers on, I'd check Chimaera but I'm afraid I can't connect right now for some reason.

OK, I added each of the Ahazi ID's to my friends list, and the following were no longer playing as those characters:

Everyone else on the list came up as offline, so I didn't get to ask if they were still ID'ing.
