Thread: Problems with the new Friday Feature
Once you are with an Image Designer you must group with them and the process takes about 10 minutes. You tell them what you would like your stats to be (emphasis added), it is not always required but it is a nice courtesy to tip the Image Designer using the option in the image design interface. (Note: Tipping whether they ask or not is a good practice and know that some will have a required fee, if you do not like the fee just find someone that will barter with you).
Unless they changed stat migrations in the last patch (I haven't done one since), IDs do not know what your stats are or what you want them to be. We also no control whatsoever over were the stats are put. For SOE to say otherwise is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!!!!!!

HELLO SOE, you gave IDs the power to have a "required payment." Why would IDslive off of tips whenthem can actually *GASP* ensure people pay them?
But, and this is a BIG but, I'm an IMAGE DESIGNER. I do NOT need your uber sliced scatter pistol, or your souped up rocket launcher. Unfortunately, the only times people try to barter with me, they always offer me weapons

Heh, someone once tried bartering a stat migration for SEX with me. I had to politely refuse that offer.

Once you have agreed on the cost using the ID service window, you should open up your character sheet window (Ctrl-C) and click on the "Stat Migration Button". The stat migration window will open up and you will see all of your stats and they will have corresponding sliders. Move the slider back and forth to adjust your stats. The numbers will rise and fall based on the position of the slider. At the end of 10 minutes, the session will end and your stats will be adjusted to the levels you set them at. Be careful not to accidentally close the window. If you do, the Image Designer will have to start the session over from the beginning and it will require a full 10 minute session.
My concern with bartering btw was that people would get to the end of the timer and then start trying to negotiate the price.

Yes, that is a good point about the bartering... I had this situation several times myself... at first my price seemed to be ok for my customer, then when the timer hit the 10 minute mark he started to barter for a lower price. :/

Ya! Tell an Armor or Weaponsmith that paying is not required! Lets see what they do!
