Thread: Training on Radiant
Thanks kindly!

Novice Image Designer/Novice Artisan
Hey there Thea,
I'm a Master Image Designer on Radiant, as is Ariae, Harih and Inday that I know of. I travel around a lot, while Ariae and Inday mainly stick to Naboo and Harih to Tatooine. I do spend most of my time on Corellia. Where are you normally? I don't mind offering training whenever I can, I had to spend well over 50,000 credits on training and I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through that.

Excellent! I found Coreina on Tatooine who has been brilliant and has already trained me three levels of hairstyling. I should master that tonight with any luck. Even so, I really want to get a chance to meet the other image designers on the various worlds as there are so few of us.
I understand all too well how much training can cost and, as such, I try to tip as generously as I can for this kind of training.
I could actually use students of my own. I just realized there's no way I'll have the apprenticeship experience I'll need by the time I'm ready for master. I have about 40 points now and that was an entertaining healing request. I'm very focued on image designer right now, so other than survey and some light entertainer, I have very little to teach...Sigh.
Even though Talus is a small world, I'll probably try and set up shop there. I honestly haven't seen any image designers on my world.
Thank you kindly for responding, I appreciate it...You know, we should try and set up an ID party on one of the worlds. Sort of a mixer? It sounds fun

Thea,
Yes, apprentice XP is a tough one. I was VERY lucky to find someone who had built up a ton of medical XP and let me teach him Pharmacology I, 7 times in a row, to get what I needed for Master. Other than that I just tried to teach anything I knew to people. I have some marksman and some medical skills too.
As for setting up on a small world, you might want to look at Rori if you're looking to start somewhere. It seems from the patch notes, etc, that a lot of stuff might end up taking place there that'll make it a popular location for a shop. I still haven't set up a shop myself as I really like to travel and I get most of my business in the cantinas. Theed, Coronet and Mos Eisley are usually pretty packed. I've seen Tyrena packed a couple of times too.

I'll probably try a little of both. Moving and setting up shop. I already share a medium home on Talus with my best friend, a tailor, so its convenient to make that a salon of sorts.
If i'm desperate for XP, I might train up image design on my other character and go teaching myself if I have to. Ug, I loathe that thought
Rori eh? I've never been there.
Thea
PS: Thanks again for all your help.
It's apprenticeship that will be my downfall. I should master hair tonight. I'm going to try and move on from there. Any suggestions on a second line?
I think what I may do is get a second line to level 3 and then not get 4. That way it will let me stock up about 80,000 XP before I top off what I can earn. That way I can get say body to 3, then rack up a bunch of XP and use that to buy a few lesser skills at one time. That way I'm not always running to you just for one training. It also gives me time to save up cash so I can tip you more at once

PS: Thanks again. I was running around like a chicken with my heat cut off hitting "Search" for Image Design on Talus, Tattooine...I was about to head to Naboo when I found you
I did track down a Mon Calamari in Theed though who started me on my way with intermediate markings. YAY. Thanks!
I really need to work on my survey and business so I can get some apprenticeship under my belt.
Thanks again folks. You've all been great! I get more kind words and responses on my posts here than I have for any other career I've tried
