Let me touch on this since I'm seeing mention of it here and there. Timers were temporarily cut down this past weekend after the most recent efforts by various corrs to convince the devs of their excessive length...to 1 minute for cosmetic changes, 2 minutes for body changes, and 4 minutes for stat migrations. I actually saw the changes on the JTL beta server so figured the infofell under the beta's NDA (non disclosure agreement).Since they apparently were also on Test Center, I'm free to talk about it. What happened is that the devs thought changing the timers would be a simple matter of changing a few numbers, accomplished in a matter of minutes, which they did. A few days ago I was notified by Runesabre that they were very sorry but Quality Assurance had found that the timer information wasn't being communicated properly between the client (the game on our side) and the servers (the game on their side) and the changes would have to wait until after JTL when there would be enough time available to fix the issue. So the good news is one day we will see timer reductions on Test Center again. Do keep in mind that nothing on Test Center is set in stone, but hopefully these changes one day will be As a glimpse of this I should tell about a recent 'bug' that appeared on TC a few days ago and got corrected again by now.
For a few days over the last weekend ID-timers were greatly reduced... even cut in half if I remember correctly... ít might have been a test or the devs accidently migrated those settings from their devellopment server which might mean they are playing around with new timer settings...
It can mean nothing or alot...
Just a little story from TC

Yay! It wasn't just my imaginination! It was real!!!
erm... *cough* ... well, as real as it can be here
I'm glad I was right with my guess and if they really plan to use those numbers with no xp-corrections IDing will be much more pleasant again

Hey Techno--
I know that the Devs are going to be stuck in JtL improvements for a while...but now that JtL is officially "here", care to revisit with us when this may be dealt with, and where it is on the Developers' agenda?
I'd really appreciate it, and I'm sure others would too.
Thanks,
Dan

I'm about to start poking the devs about it, now that JTL is released to see when we can expect the timers to finally reduced.
I will report back when I have something new

Also, remember, we have a few ID's or former ID's behind the scenes. Techno won't be alone
