Thread: Good bye to my most cherished profession.

Well, it's done.
I've lost it.
It's gone.
I've officially become fed up with disappointments, lack of follow through, and lack of fixes for this game.
I've left. And by left I mean I cancelled my account on Thursday and have been playing City of Heroes for the past weekend.
I took a moment to pause and consider what I'd miss from this game.. My pets from being a CH... The RP... Well who am I kidding most of the roleplay in this game was sad and pathetic and misguided from hardcore StarWars fans to blind to realize that this is just a sad 50's Sci-Fi movie MMORPGwith a starwars logo slapped on it.
When it comes right down to it, the only thing I really will miss is Image Design, the only profession that I really ENJOYED.
It was fun, it was entertaining, and most of all, IT WASN'T BROKEN.
I know, I know, I sound bitter, honestly I'm not, I'm just a loyal SW Fan who got tire dof waiting for this game to actually live up to the name of StarWars
Good bye, my friends of the ID community, the best community on these forums.
To any of you who may play COH I'm on the Virtue server under the name of Lady Lumos, feel free to drop me a line.
To the rest of you? Well, it was fun for awhile, and I wish you all the best of luck, maybe all those rumors of a Lucas Arts take over will come true and this game's life force might be revived.

You sound like someone who will be missed. Keep an eye back over your shoulder, It might be worth returning to in a few months.

Well i hope you will be happy wherever you end up 
I didn't like city of heroes much myself....nothing to do but fight lol....this game spoiled me for non-combat alternatives ^_^

yeah I heard CoH is pretty singleminded... sounds perfect for all those grinders that have seen it all here and whereever... until they can grind through WoW and EQ2 and... erm then still havn't accomplished nothing...

It's too bad.. I like the game swg and get depressed because I don't get to play it as much per day as I would like.

Thanks for all the good byes from so many of my favorite IDers here on the boards. 
I'm happy to say i'm absoltuely adoring COH. Finally found the ideal MMO for me, you can get so much accomplished in such a short amount of time, I can just play an hour a day and stil lfeel like I've made some good head way
I never felt that with SWG.
Another update once again for anyone else with COH who may want to talk to me my main character is now Ebony Feline, still on virtue.
Glad to see the ID board stil lseems to be going strong.
