Almost immediately, I got called to the ID Tent. For stat migration and a makeover. As I was headling for the tent, I got agroed by a Gaping Spider and shot at it. When I arrived, there was a couple waiting there who asked me to give the female a makeover. As I was finishing up on her, my stat migration arrived at the tent.

As I was doing the stat migration that had called me to the tent in the first place, I got a badge for the live event. This was the first of these that I have gotten with any of my characters.

I spent the next few hours doing stat migrations. There were so many people wanting ID work that I asked them to forma line. I figured it was a good idea and quite fair to all concerned.... and most of the people who came in after I started working got in line as a matter of course.

Naturally, though, there had to be one person who didn't feel that they needed to do what all the others were doing. At one point, one of those waiting sent me a tell asking me how much longer I was going to be. I explained that the person I was working on wanted a stat migration and that they had gone LD halfway through and we had had to start all over again. I finished that customer and started the next. The impatient customer sent mea tell saying that they hoped that the next one wasn't another stat migration (it was... lol). I finished them, then started on the next person in line, only to get a tell from the impatient customer, who apparently had not gotten into line like all the others had. They were very upset and thought I should have somehow known that they were next. Argh! Apparently, they did not realize that I had that great big honking interface covering up nearly my entire screen and was depending on people being in line so I could just take them in order since I could not see anyone through it! Oh well.

One of my customers asked me to fix them up so they looked good while we waited for the timer. I did such a good job on her I almost wanted a Twi-lek of my own. (he he

Almost everyone was quite happy to pay my 20k fee for stat migrations, but I did have one person who though it was too much to pay. I told them that they should look around and see if they could find a Novice who might do it for less. They left, and I guess they intended to take my advice.

I had several people who wanted makeovers, including one great customer who paid me 50k to give her a Halloween look for a party... and another 50k to put her back to normal a few hours later. As I was getting her put back, a Novice ID came into the tent and started grinding on herself... so I told everyone who came in after that to go to her if all they needed was a stat migration. She was still there when I left the tent, but had gone the next time I was called to work on someone.

As I finished working on that customer, Elvis Presley came in wanting his hair and sideburns fixed (as the proper hairstyle was not available at creation).

I finally ended the night on Dantooine, as one customer called on me to do a session in her home shortly before the servers shut down.

I had one customer as I was buying my ticket for Dantooine who wanted his mustache removed and some work done on his hair that had a variation of the Helmet Bug. He took his helmet off and I could see his head fine, but he saw the helmet. Since he wanted no facial hair at all, I told him I could at least do that for him, and did. They really need to do something about that bug.

All in all, I had fun. Sure there were a lot of people wanting stat migrations and 2 less than desirable customers (neither of whom actually got anything done), but for the most part, it was an enjoyable experience. I think a lot of that was due to the holiday though.

I survived the CU

I was doing the same thing - IDing someone and suddenly I got the "you have a badge!" music lol. From earlier experience I know what this was - spiderclan sisters were being dropped into cities as a Halloween treat. There was a really neat system message/limirick that went along with it too. I found out because my husband, who shalt remain nameless, MIGHT have been afk sampling resources in a starport when a sister jumped in, killed him with thrown junk, and wished him Happy Halloween. I admit I took a certain vicious pleasure in watching it happen. I mean, I don't know what happened honey... /halo
