Thread: Are we really that rare?

Yup. I see more jedis than fellow IDs every day. The combination of the painful grind, IDs hiding from people wanting stat migrationsand the fact that ID is a social profession and not a combat profession all contribute to making IDs rare.
I'm proud to be rarer than jedi!
Just last night I had someone ask Lhyris (my Master Entertainer, Master Dancer, Master Musician, Novice ID) come into the cantina and ask her if she could do stat migrations (she had her Master Entertainer title up). I guess some people are coming to the conclusion that Master Entertainers are usually IDs as well.
(I still want 16 more skill credits so I can have Lhyris Master ID without having to drop any of her other Entertainer skills.)

Yes, I usually hide my master ID tag and use 'dazzler' or something when in Coronet. Sometimes a travelling bug reverts it though and I get bombarded by tells as soon as I get off the shuttle.
Though a good few people seem to remember that I am an MID and I get a lot of tells despite the tag.
I don't think people think that MEnts are ID's -- I think you just got famous ![]()
And also I have totally droppped combat now to be a pure entertainer and it is possible to master dancer, masterID, and get 4042 musician.
With the right clothes you can still buff mind and secondaries, and still make everyone purdiful ![]()
Since Musician buffs are more desirable than dance buffs, I plan to drop some of my dancer skills when the time comes that I need the skill credits for ID... I just don't want to have to! I want to be able to hold onto master of all of the Entertainer professions! I want those 16 skill credits we are short of to be able to do it!

Most of the time when I will check in at the Coronet salon where I did most of my ID leveling, there is at least 1 other MID there, and 1 or maybe 2 lower level ID's working. This is of course during the day (cst) during peak hours.....in the middle of the night (unfortunately the daytime for many European players) all bets are off
i'm on intrepid, and occasionally i'll see another MID
