Thread: Neon red hair?

I visited an ID tent after the patch today hoping to get neon red hair on human, but two IDs I tried (one a master) said it wasnt available. I was sure I saw it in the pre-release screenshots. Is it really not in? Any web site with alll the new options?

I didn't retest it today, but I was able to give humans neon red hair on Test Center. The non Master wouldn't have it, it'son the Master ID palette.

Neon red, blue, green, yellow, purple all seemed to be options for me when I did manage to get on Eclipse long enough to type /id me.

It's possible the image designers you asked either a) couldn't do it, b) couldn't find it with how tiny the color boxes are, or c) simply refuse to color in that shade. Perhaps I'm not the onlyMID that refuses to color people in eye-wrenching neon shades. There are maybe 5-10 out of like 200 new colors only that I really find truly offensive to the eye. That includes fuschia, the brightest yellow, the brightest limey green, the richest red and orange, and a handful of others. I'm not going to contribute to me needing to wear sunglasses whenever I enter a populated area

I dunno my chick character on Bria has red neon hair and it looks DA'MN FINE!!!

they give us new colors and MIDs refuse to use them...im damn happy that we got all these colors....why dont you just enjoy what they gave you and stop complaining

Well to be fair, some people just don't like the flamboyance and "setting breach" of some of the available color options.
Personally, I'm not sure how I think of it, will wait and see if the "Extreme for Teens!" colors fade as a fad or not before I pass judgement

*directed to Drelos* Gee, I'm pretty sure I mentioned that there were 5-10 out of TWO HUNDRED colors I found offensive and painful on the eyes, that I refuse to use because of that fact. Do I see you complaining that tailors aren't using baby turd brown-green because it's disgusting to look at? No? Ok then, keep your flames to yourself. I and anyone else can sew or ID whatever colorsthey please. So sorry if I don't want to contribute to having to squint every time a player walks past. Obviously you enjoy squinting, I don't.
