1) There are no more index numbers so you have a hard time knowing what your Bars are set at if you dont like your new, and want to go back

2) You cant see what the ID is changing so they can change things without your consent.

3) why did they make some things better, and like points 1 and 2, make some things worse?

1) No one really knows.. my educated guess is for the same reason they did away with timers, to make the profession more organic, and less robotic. Macros are baaaaad. *shakes finger* Or because they plain just forgot!

2) You know, a list of changes would be nice, but I kind of like this change.. (except when combined with the helmet bug.) It makes people watch their image designer instead of AFK. And as Martha Stewart said.. that's a good thing. Just remember to Revert if you need it!

3) Before they were Sony Online Entertainment, they were sometimes referredto as Verant Noninteractive. Old habits die hard?

Seriously, the answer here is, there will always be good with bad. You can't do anything without some good and some bad somewhere along the line.

Did I think the changes were more good than bad? Yes. Will I ever in a million years admit that to SOE? Nope. I am board/bored poster, hear me ROAR!

For Issue #1, it most likly has to do with when the UI work was done for ID.

I suspect the UI [for old ID Changes] was done a while ago, before they introduced the numerals for ID under the old system, and just failed to update the 'new UI' with that change.

Some issue with the new UI may be more awkward to 'quick update' than the old simplier UI sliderbox, hopefully it's something the devs address soon.

The problem with revert is that it undoes all of the changes you made. If you've worked awhile on a person, this can suck. Oh wait, there is more than one problem with it. Go figure. The other problem is when you revert it doesn't move the boxes/sliders back always to what they should be unless you go to change them.

The second issue is what bugs me the most. I have designed my image myself carefully and meticulously. Now it's just the way I want it. There is no way that I am going to let another ID work on me for xp - for fear that they will change something. (And without the numbers it's very hard to set it back myself)

And that, is exactly my point Plagvreugd... Finnaly some one smart enough to just see what the H'e'l'l i'm trying to talk about... lol jesus. People work hard to get their characters image just the way they want it, and then if you want just a minor change some ID can come along and ignorantly mess something up that you cant even notice, until you leave and realize your cheeks are all ugly all of a sudden or something.

Back before there were any solid details on what the UI would entail, some ID's voiced concern that customers would ask for specific numbers on sliders instead of allowing the ID any creativity in the process. And really even before the community knew a new UI was coming some ID's did not like the fact that occasionally a customer would specify the exact measurements they wanted. And so the decision was made to not include numbersin the new UI (which was made from scratch). As we know the numbers are very useful, and really it is rare for a customer to specify exactly what they want on sliders. Once I realized there were no numbers (when Pub 8.1 was on TC) I spoke to our dev about the posts they had seen asking for slider number removal, and they haveplans to put the numbers in the new UI as soon as they can.

Well I'm glad we're getting it back. It will be easier to make "twins" now too!

LOL, that's the original reason I went ID at launch. I made the same pair of twins on 11 servers, hehe.
