ran into this problem this evening when the person i was migrating stats LDed in the middle....searched for a fix to this bug and all i could find was log out for a WHILE or wait for server reset. well being as frustrated as i was cause i was one stat migrate from hair 3, i went to the extreme. i went out and commited suicide. image designing after that was fine as usual. granted it is a big toss up but a tad bit of decay & black bars(unless cloned/insured) is worth being able to ID more.

thought id pass the idea along in case you find yourself in a bind

I find it's generally safer (and without the HAM black rot) to just tell an apathetic client to interact with the system on occasion so they don't LD. If you can't talk with them or anything else.

If you can be reasonably sure they're paying attention to the screen, sometimes an orange mohawk will elicit some sort of panicky "oh no!" response from a nonresponsive client.

The best way to get around this bug is to not commit a session until you are sure your customers is NOT LD!

If he/she is LD, cancle the session. In case he's just afk (most probably without telling you), cancle the session, too.

In case you are struck by this bug nonetheless, then a simple relog should help. To my knowledge and experience you don't need to wait long, but you need to restart the client so you have to leave the game completly by using the /logout command and not simply disconnect. I think this is a mistake usually made by players, to simply disconnect and not logout.
