With the new races being introduced plus at times not being happy with my current race. Why not give Master Image Designers the ability to changer a players race for them. I would only allow it at the master level and require like 30 minutes to accomplish it. This would be a great money maker for those who sacrifice an active toon to help their fellow players. And allow players to roleplay different races without either leaving their home server or starting over from scratch when they are happy with the current skill set.
What do you guys think?

Unfortunately, it has been unequivocally stated that there will be two things Image Designers will never be able to change, no matter what: species and gender. Interesting idea that's been discussed ad infinitum, but it'll never happen.

There are problems and potential exploits related to changing species, its not just changing the visual way you look, also different species have different clothing restrictions, and more importantly, different species have different racial bonuses, and even more importantly, different species have different HAM capabilities.
Wookiees and Trandoshans have more total HAM points than other species, Zabraks can get higher mind secondaries than Rodians (for instance) Humans have better overall HAM distribution. There are far too many potential minefields involved in this conversion that its going to be a long time before Devs work them all out, if they even try.

Thanks for teh responses folks. Not being an ID myself or really knowing anything about the profession, I just thought it was a good idea. Looks like it's been considered and rejected by the powers that be.
