Thread: So what do IDs think about Ithorians?

Wanted to check with the true gurus of style, the IDs who specialize in appearance to see what you thought of the choice of Ithorian for one of the 2 new races coming in JTL. I wonder what color you can make those hammer heads?

I was pleasantly surprised to see Ithorians becoming a playable race. They are markedly different from the majority of other humanoids and will place a greater diversity in the playerbase.

Pshaw. I can make them hawt, I know I can.
But dammit if they want to be hawt, I'm going to make them shorter than I. I like being able to see over the crowds in Coronet when I'm trying to check the ticket collector!

Personally I can't wait for the challenge. It will be awesome to finally have a new species to ID on!!! The challenge of making them uber hawt will definintly be a fun one!!

Ithorians arent supposed to be "hot" to humans or any other species . Making them look "attractive" or "hawt" wont be a HUGE challenge (Like bothans are *shudder*). Ithorians are just cute...like mon cals lol. BUTboth speciesalso look very different and very cool.

yeah, i can picture it.. imagine an ithorian grl (doenst it sound like a michael jackson song ?) with long... things, and a round and firm...er... whatever, glistening... stuff on a... hu... nondescript orifice, and some nice pigments on her...hummm... lets say external membrane.
yeah real hawt (the part about the orifice anyway)

Ithorians are what they are and to make them look cool does not mean that they need to look sexy or such things. Btw: their whole culture is about keeping their planet untouched... which does not means there are no Ithorians out there with the desire to look sexy

I think the Ithorian challenge is to make them look more "interesting" rather than hawt. Being interesting is their major appeal - its our job to enhance that.
