Thread: Training Other Players
Greetings, 
Well last night I took the plunge, after practicing my dancing until level IV I decided I would jump into Image Design. Well thankfully I was able to make my way from level 1-3 that evening but there was NO ONE around to train me. There was one person who was a novice Image Designer and I asked if I could pay her to train me. To which I was told that she had image design covered in this cantina and she was training anyone to take away from her buisness.

I said well it's either 3k for you or the entertainer trainer I figured I would ask you first. But thanks anyway. Did I step on some sort of Image Design vodoo to make her upset. Am I missing a protocol here? Anyway I just wanted to let anyone on Naboo on the Valcyn server that I will be available to help train them if they need it. I'll even do it with a smile!

As much as I would LOVE to corner the market, in reality it comes down to the fact that I WISH there was someone around to train me when I was working on my image design ( I paid every single level to the silly NPC lady). I have NEVER turned down someone for training, and I have gone out of my way to meet up wiht them if they called me for training. Its just about being a good 'person'. What goes around comes around.
There are also days when I feel like hunting. Most of the time I will make an appointment for later on if I get a call and I am out in the field, but when I am swamped it is nice to have someone to refer to.
Anyway, you did nothing wrong in requesting training, and I am SURE that this person's personality will come through and her clients will notice. You will gain the respect of your clients much more quickly and the word will spread.

sorry you encountered that, if she was novice she could probably use the apprentice points but eh.
All entertainers/image designers I have met this month have all been great.

On my server Scylla the entertainers and designers seem to never mind free training. Its almost as if we have an informal guild. We stick together ,, support each other,,and have a great time in the cantina.
