Being new to this, and even making a macro. Somehow Ilocked myself up and cannot ID myself. Is there a way to fix this?

Sounds like your macro pauses may be too close together, if you miss clicking accept even once before the toolbarslot activates again you can bug yourself and the game will think you have an outstanding offer. Check the FAQ above for more info Typically your best bet is just waiting it out, a server reset always fixes it.

I don't know how to fix it but I DO have an inkling as to what causes it. I noticed that if I am running a macro and target something other than who I was ID'ing on... that's when this happens. A lot of times you will do this on accident when you are clicking accept... so point yourself in a corner, not facing anything targettable, and uncheck the "clicking nothing untargets" option in ctl-o. If you do get bugged, log out for 25 mins. When you come back the issue is resolved.

That is such great advice!! I was so happy when I found that little option in the Controls since I was always targeting the air. Icompletely forgot to include that in my guide

Even NOT using a macro I get the same problem.

It can also happen aftera lag spike on either the ID or customer end, or if the person you are ID'ing is a little slow on hitting accept for whatever reason. Sometimes the time out just doesn't work

Lately when I've received the outstanding message I've just entered /imagedesignSetValue hair_color 15 and that has always brought up the accept dialog and I was able to accept and then continue to ID. Obviously you could change what you are setting.

I've had some people say this doesn't work for them but it has always worked for me so it's at least worth a shot.
