Forgive me if this seems like a n00b question, but I recently aquired Master ID, and was playing around with the "Age" mod. On my character, I noticed no change. What does it do? It costs a heckuva lot of mind, but I saw no noticable change. Is it bugged or something?

it adds wrinkles to the face. From what I remember older video cards (32mb maybe) don't have the age option available.

I have a GeForce 4 MX 440 with 128MB of RAM. Think I should see the age effects?

ah ok, guess I was wrong did some research here is a reply by Holocron about age.
"Age is not available on the GeForce 4 MX.
She could log in on your machine, create her character, and then play on her machine, though. She will not see age on anyone until she gets a better videocard.

sorry about that.

What does Age do? I got Master Image Design the other day and have been having fun playing with everything, but I don't see any difference at all with Age.
Thanks

Age gives your character wrinkles. Some lighting in the game makes ithard to see the wrinkles. But, also, some video cards don't show the effect.

The FAQ says you can change everything we can at character creation, does that include age?

Yes, we can change age, but for some graphics cards, you cannot see the age outside of character creation. I know my graphics card falls in that catagory. I can see lines slightly, but not very well.

Hmmmm.......my graphics card didn't show ANY of my changes at character creation unless I chose something other then a human male......unfortunately, I wanted a human male, so I never noticed the age until I got in the game. lol I also had no way to see how big my nose was, or lips, cheeks, chin, etc etc. It kinda sucked. I didn't bother to check age, and now I look like an old man. I might leave it, I was just curious if it could be done. ID sounds awesome.

It's either Master ID, Facial IV or something. Not positive. Takes alot of mind and I've rarely had to do it. hehe. Just look down the facial line when IDing someone or yourself. I always forget about it until someone asks for it changed.

I've had occasion to change someone's age once. And he wanted it changed back the next day.
