It's been nearly two weeks since minipublish 8.1 has gone live, and only one person has expressed any sentiment in support of the new ID skillgain system. We were told that XP gain would be monitored, evaluated, and adjusted accordingly—so far we've yet to see any indication that this has been/is being done. In order to help the developers in general, and Runesabre in specific, to understand why the new system is so problematic I'd like to offer my assistance:
Create a new, non-dev/QA, toon on TestCenter. Pick up novice entertainer. I will tip you whatever cash you need to get to a tent. I will meet you at that tent. I will click accept for you for as long as you can bear to offer me changes. I will train you in whatever skills you qualify for in that time. Just tell me when and I'll be there.
I guarantee that after a couple hours of clicking you'll no longer need to evaluate or wait for metrics—the imbalance in the system is readily apparant.

If that wouldn't drive the point home, I don't know what would.
