I know what you're thinking, that this is probably a rant on the fact that ID's prices are out of control, but you're wrong. I've got a simple question I want answered, Why exactly, when we don't have to pay for tools or resources to change things, is there still a mind cost associated with any change? I've had my stats migrated to where I have absolute minimum requirements for mind will and focus (I'm an entertainer on the side and needed a high action pool) and I never have any problem doing any sort of change for lack of mind. I can typically regain the mind needed during the timer's ticking. So why the cost? It's not really a big deal I guess, more of a curiosity.

Kwee hashypothisized that this is a bug. I am more inclined to believe that the Devs simply didn't think to remove the mind cost when they put in the timer.

I was actually told by our dev that there was no mind cost since we had the timers. So that's why I was guessing it was a bug. Maybe they lowered mind cost at some point and then never removed it completely?

"So I put in the timers like you said, and Bob here removed the Mind cost. Then.."
"I thought you removed the Mind cost."
"You so TOTALLY said you were removing the Mind cost."
"Dude, I did not! I was busy disabling the stat migrations."
"Hi Bob, Joe."
"Hi Tom."
"Hi Tom."
"So Bob, did you ever get around to removing the Mind cost?"
*Everyone looks angrily at Bob, who is busy examining the overhead lighting for stress fractures.*
