Thread: Zabrak Hair Bug

I couldn't find a post about this, so I thought I would ask. I had a male zabrak customer today, who asked for a stat migration, and (much to my delight) asked to have some ID work done in the long wait. I maxed his height, and then I changed his horn-only style to one with horns in hair. The only problem was that I could not pick a hair color- the box was darkened like when you have some other ID tab open. We let it go, and let the session end. His stats and height updated, but not his horn/hairstyle. So I did a second session.. I picked the hairstyle again, and still could not change the color. When his session ended, he went bald.
Needless to say, my razor went out of control and I refundedhim.
So my question is: has anyone else dealt with this? Are there any solutions or workarounds? I'd really hate to go shaving more heads by accident. Luckily he wasn't angry, but I still feel bad. Oddly enough, on his screen, he saw the new hairstyle, but no one else did. He was bald to the world.

This is a known bug. The work-around is to give them hair in the first session and color it in the next. There are posts about it on the board, but they are older ones and may be hard to find.

I seem to remember trying that exact thing last week, and having it work, and I think it was on my TC ID..... soooo... it may be fixed in the patch /crossfingers...
By having it work - I mean I was able to give hair (when there were only horns before)and customize color in the same session.

I had it working on TC as far as I know, too... can't be sure since I never had the first bug. I have had an issue twice where a zabrak customer hasn't been able to see the hair colour changes I'm making until I commit the changes. This isn't such a big deal if I'm in a tent... I just set the colour, he says if it's OK, if it isn't it's an instant change to try a new one.
