Thread: Change in the skin color palettes, specifically in this case for twi'leks.

I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question, but I was visiting a friend on another servertoday, and made a character there, a twi'lek, and I looked, and it seemed some of the colors once available at creation, like the greys, and perhaps a yellow or something, were no long available at creation... nor was she able to change my color to the grey or locate it after I got in game and she was doing image design on me. She's a master image designer herself, and I'm on SS, though I haven't had a chance to look at the palettes myself .. but has anyone seen this happen at all. If so, is it a bug or just me? Hm.
It kind of sucks, if so, to see some of these colors gone now when they've been available all this time.

This change happeneds quite a long time ago and it was across all races and included hairstyles, hair colors, facial hair styles and colors, skin colors and several other things. There were no patch notes stating this as far as I can remember. I stumbled upon it months and months ago as I frequently make characters on several servers and mess around for a few weeks to see if I'll like it there too.
I can't say how sweeping these changes were, if they were unintentional and/or if they totally removed lots of things from the game outright, even from IDs at that point.

Hm, as I made a character not too long ago, with the grey and such still being available as an option on Kettemoor, and this is after the ID revamp, I don't think these changes were made quite a long time ago or that long ago actually. I've mastered image design 3 times now ,and did it again recently, say in the last 2 months again or less, and noted that these colors I'm noting are now gone, were available ... this seems, to me, on my observation, to only happened in the last few weeks or something, or month or a little over at the latest, if even that.

The new colors were tacked on behind the old palettes, so you should be able to find your old grays and yellows

Yup, you're right ,Kwee, I looked myself on my master ID, and it's there.
Just still haven't pop right in my character creation screen. Hm, I'll have to check that again.
