Why don't we get a quick-fix bit of content by having access to the already coded hair styles available to NPC's but not image designers?

How does stat migration in actual practice compare to the dev's vision of its workings at the time of implementation?

Editted for spelling…no TC and no beer make Syzygy something something… (Spell badly? Don't mind if I do!)

Most of the universe's problems can be solved by the application of a brick to the side of the right head.
The problem is if you don't have a big enough brick or can't find the right head. The devil is in the details.

I have a few.

1)

TH, why do you and RS wish to ruin the ID prof by making us do Stat Migrations and give us more xp for ticking a box than doing real ID work?

2)

TH, why do you not want IDs to have PC Salons?

Are there any plans to make more or all of thehairstyles fromthe hair-bearing races cross to other hair-bearing races/genders (especially since there are already a number that are used in human males, male and female bothan, female rodian and male and female zabrak that are identical.)

Bearing in mind I am not asking for Twi'lek and Calimari to have hair. but darn it, the bothan and rodian females are limited and I know many Zabrak and human ladies who would like some of the other race styles. Or other gender styles. (Bothan in particular....)

Add this point to my question... why not give us some of the content we want by expanding our options using already-included models from NPCs and other races or genders

"How much time has RuneSaber spent playing an Image Designer on a live server both before and after thechibi publish? If the answer is none, why is he not heeding our advice concerning our profession? If he answers "Because I am the Lead Designer." that will be viewed as insufficient answer. Also, if he answers "But I did take Kwee's feedback into consideration." that will be viewed as a lie."

Now I am reposting the yellow part from my other thread because that is what is on my mind. I am aware that it is inflamitory, but regardless, it doesn't invalidate the actual question. If you wanted to "clean it up", well, I have done that for you allready with the green color coding.

As much as we're all ticked at RS & the devs, I think anytime we get to ask them a formal question it would be better to ask a question that could actually result in us getting added content or bugs fixed, such as:

1. Can we get the numbers put back in our sliders?

2. Can we give the old method of stat migration back to the player base?

3. Can the timers be changed sothey start after a change is accepted instead of before?

4. Can we be given the ability to ID merchant vendors?

5. Can the migration timers be reduced by half so players will stop going LD while waiting?

Anyway, you get the idea...

Mine would be number one for now.

I am not sure, but I think this issue has already been addressed by Kwee.

2. Can we give the old method of stat migration back to the player base?

These two points have been addressed by RS, and I honestly don't think he is swayable on them. Check his post history for more details.

4. Can we be given the ability to ID merchant vendors?

TH has already told us that this is something for the future, asking it would be a waste I think.

5. Can the migration timers be reduced by half so players will stop going LD while waiting?

If we asked this, I will bet real money that the answer would be "We are removing and reducing timers for Master IDs in publish 9."

Anyway, you get the idea...

Yeah, I do. I really wish wecould just ask a real question and get a real answer out of these "sessions", but a look at the past "19 questions" will show that this is not the case.

Mine would be number one for now.

Numbers would be nice, but since they are already an issue (and not a game-breaking one)I don't think bringing them up again will help any.

Those were more examples than anything else...& even though they seem a waste too, it just seems an even bigger waste to ask them questions like why they hate us or why won't they listen to us etc...when the answer is so obvious that all they care about is our monthly payments.

I honestly wouldn't know what to ask them anymore. I picked the numbers because it was at least something they already did once & could just put it back in again. Other than that I have absolutely no faith in them getting any new content or changes right after the last round.

I am actually in a holding pattern right now as it is...if publish 9& 10 only result in more time & money sinks similar to what they did to our profession, then my four accounts are gone...I won't even wait to try JTL.

I really want those numbers back, but also the idea of using other species' hairs or of the other gender, appeals to me. Also, but maybe this is just my depravity, make up for men.

The only reason I can think of not to ask for makeup for men is that the devs are terrified of actually having to add anything... they'd have to play with which vertices to shade and stuff to make boys wear lipstick. I'd love to see that myself, since my ID is a male character and has a sad amount of self-customisation available.

Well, I've stated many times before that I don't know the first thing about what comes into making a game like this (or any other for that matter) but the way I see it, can't they just copy-paste it from the woman ID options?

Incidentally I also want the right to wear a dress, but perhaps this isn't the right forum to post this in.

Edit: for clarity's sake, my suggestions for questions are the following:

1. Can we get the numbers we used to rely on while IDing back?

2. Will we be able to apply make up or lipstick to males?

3. Will we be able to ID glasses for people? (This I write because a couple of guild mates of mine made me)
