I agree, IDs are left out, but Dancers and Musicians are very important for the PvP aspects of the GCW, even if that is, unfortunately, as Bots.

Anyone thinking of using FP for training can forget it!
It seems that Entertainers (ALL Entertainers) are regarded as useless by the Factions!

Just remember that when they revamp the combat system everyone and their dog will be need new stat migration. I think this will give us a chance to really become useful in the GCW. Also we are gonna get really rich.

i don't mean to ruffle any feathers here, but how many jedi do you see running around saying "Honey, you've got no style! Let me make you over!"

well... I guess... If everyone stop making Entertainers.... we'd invoke change. Imagine a world with noone to remove battle fatigue

The first time I was an ID (this was like, last January), there was a raid going on at the local Imperial bases near my player city. At the time I was MID, TKN and a Novice Smuggler, so I went down to check out the action, as I was a Rebel and like to blow Imperials up. However, when I got there, I had my MID tag up. Within a few seconds of my arrival, I seriously got 10 tells with requests from people there to make them look "scarier." So, instead of killing (or attempting to kill), I did warpaint for everyone.
Sure, I didn't slay a thing, but I boosted the morale for the players as they were able to fit into their roles as combatants better.
So... do we REALLY have any role in the GCW?
No, the profession does not have a role. However,IDs can certainly role play, and therefore, yes, IDs can have a distinct place in the GCW.
