Whats up with this? We have quite a list of actual BUGS and they only fixed Female Mon Cals.

We aren't making enough waves. A few weeks ago Holo posted that they fix things based on how many complaints they get, mostly via phone calls to customer service and in game tickets/bug reports. We are a profession very much in the minority, and our issues are not game breaking, nor do they affect a great deal of the player population. When Holo began posting for more info about Mon Cal and Trando defaulting issues, I submitted a complete bug list which he then posted he sent to the programmers. However only Mon Cal and Trando relevant changes were made. Myself and one or two others posted that eye shape and trando mouth size were still not fixed, and I guess this update is addressing those. There is currently no master ID on test center, and I'm not sure if Rilawn (our correspondent) is planning to make a character there. In fact I'm not sure if she's still our correspondent. I emailed her a couple days ago asking her if she had resigned and didn't hear back. I know a lot of them have resigned out of discouragement.

I propose we all /bug the most annoying Image Designer issues in game. And if anyone is motivated, to call them in. There is also a feedback form you can do under Contact Us, in www.starwarsgalaxies.com. You can choose which profession you want to give feedback for using a scroll bar. I did that yesterday...

Things we cannot change

- Mon Cal lip size (fixed with update?)

- Eye shape (fixed with update?)

- Mon Cal Torso (they are still flat chested since the default, they used to have a little bust)

- Trandoshan mouth size (fixed with update?)

- Twi'lek ears

- Cannot make someone bald

- Male freckles

- Giving markings to someone that chose no markings in character creation

- Twi'lek eyebrows

- Female Rodian Hair color

- Rodian clasp color

- Hair defaults to brown/orange (depending on species), horns to brown upon a hairstyle change, back to normal after person relogs. Hair color changes are not visible to others until person relogs.

Pet peeve of profession = Interface

- difficult interface with awful sliders that have no numbers on them to keep track of things

- no visible color palettes like in char creation

- bad lighting

- we would like char creation interface in a window

Top wish list items

- body tattoos

- unnatural hair colors

- full head of hair for zabrak females

Thats sad - The Dev's plan to help bring player response to the forefront in an orderly fashion has made some or most of them quite their position. Says a lot right there. I mean I know theres other things that are quite important, they are jumping on exploits faster than any game ive ever seen trying to control and stabalize an economy that has the ability to spiral out of control (like other games)

Cant say that im all that pleased with the lack of response to our proffession, but at least they didnt leave us out of the game altogether.

Oh Bravo on the Entertainers new command.

I had thought of using examine in the same way that tailors use it, but found that I could not zoom in on the face in the same way I could zoom in on myself in my inventory screen. Were you able to accomplish that?

Being a Rodian female myself, I think the clasp color works fine; the color changes are subtle but noticable. The hair color bug is really annoying to me, though, so I'm going to /bug it.

Also one tip for the bad lighting, try Examining your customer. It brings up a window with their bio and shows them in good lighting, and it will show your ID changes, like lip color. Examining is something tailors have used for some time to match colors with the colors in the crafting tool. I have Examine hotkeyed to the NumPad 0.

On lighting issues... I have found that if i have my customer stand with their back against a wall that has lights on it (cantina), then stand directly behind them, facing the same direction it gives just as much light as if I were to go upclose on myself. You may need to adjust your own height so the angle is better but this works perfectly for me. Make sure they're standing and not sitting so they're not constantly leaning out of view.
