Greetings everyone. My name is Trianna Xanaphia, from the Chilastra galaxy.
I have just started on Image designer with help from my guild, and I am now 4001.
People from my guild keep asking me this question everyday: "Why are you hologrinding now when the Jedi revamp is on the way?" I laugh at them when I say: "I'm not hologrinding, my holo is swordsman(or was it fencer? I forget)" I get the impression that people think this is a stupid profession to be, but I have found a way to change that. It is now well known in the guild that I can give anyone any style of hair that they want. I also proudly wear my Novice ID tag everywhere I go. Instead of people thinking that I'm just some low life non-combatant, I have started to change their mind by giving them ID sessions. Once they see what I can offer, even at the low level that I'm at, they have a lot more respect, and they usually leave a nice tip. Needless to say, I'm still rather shocked. If anyone comes up to me now dising my profession, I just offer them a hairstyle.

You know, I'm not sure if this is a testament to ID…or if I'm just a really, really sad individual. It took me about 8 times as long to master ID as it did for Swordsman. About 5 times as long for ID as for Teras Kasi. It's not that I didn't or don't exjoy any of the three—I actually really like them all, for different reasons…but for some reason I got the speed of mastery reversed.
As far as those who think ID is useless…I generally just ridicule their profession in return. Juvenile? Sure, but it's fun.

I giggle every time I've had to go train in ID. The NPC Image Designer even SAYS that people make fun of us and laugh at us...
but in the end... who do they come to when they want to look different?
