hey guys been a while i know... lots of new faces here ive noticed and am glad to see some of the original Id'ers still here I told you all when i left due to the hologrinders and the earlier exploits that are now fixed that i may come back. Well my journeys have taken me on many paths since then and am now total combat and healer professions... My problem now is i will be finishing the corellian corvette and then will be dropping tkm all together along with the unarmed branch in brawler to either take up dancer again as i was the 3rd master on my server back after release or come back to Image design both professions i fell in love with so long ago.

I am really leaning more toward image design but then i think of the fun i had while dancing in the cantinas back when places like mos eisley was bustling with players and activity. I used to have sooo much fun with image design though. i am really torn here...anyone have any advice it would be very much appreciated to help with my decision.

That's a toughie, both can be a lot of fun.My Ivory onTest Center doesdancing and music. I'm really enjoying the atmosphere there, for the most part there is a really nice crowd there, both audience and in the entertainer group Would you consider dancing there, and ID"ing with your other char? Do remember that Runesabre said he was having someone look into our experience being too fast. I would advise mastering ID asap just in case if you choose it

BWAHAHAHAH!!! I knew you would return!!! My advice is to master ID now, in preparation for the changes to the ID system, so you can play with them.

Honestly, I think dance won't be that much fun until the new jedi system is truly implemented, so starting now will just put you in the cantinas with a bunch of hologrinders. You want to level up when the cantina is full of fun people who want to dance, not people now trying frantically to unlock before the new system is put in.

So... when are you coming back to tailoring...?

P.S. Did you read the patch 9 notes? I may be reading it wrong but we may be getting 2 characters (not clear if one MUST be force sensitive or not). Then you can do both, and the only question is whether you want your original name associated with dance/ID or whether you want to do those on a totally new character.

From how it sounds, we will be able to do quests to get force powers, but you don't have to pursue it and become a full jedi (will you still be hunted then?). I kind of like the idea of a force sensitive image designer (Eimi uses force-blowdry on you!). Anyway, it sounds like when you gain force sensitivity from your quest, you open another character slot which you can also develop as you wish. If you want that second character to be your jedi, they would have to do they quests to get force sensitivity too. Doing them a second time would not open another slot, though.

I'm just hoping that the quests are reasonable and that there are ways for all classes to do them! I'm afraid that they won't think of non-combat people like me and tell me that I have to do something like solo the corvette to open my new slot.

ill prolly be coming back to image design or dance in combo with doc after i finish teh corellian corevette from start to finish...however i have a new rule i have set for my self since doc is/will be my main profession then,... i will take no attitudes off of any customers and only take those referred to me by close friends and repeats i know well from before i dropped it... i want to have fun with it more this time so i will be very selective of who i ID this time around so i dont get bogged down in the "gah stiffed again" and "oh just pick one hair style you've seen them all 10 times already" people that catch you just before you log. buti still have a few weeks before finally deciding to drop tka for ID or dance.

but i have missed you guys here as well, kwee, n'jessi, and a lot of others as well...as for tailoring, i wont be one again in the near future at any rate
