Thread: Hair color bug?

Ok, not the bug we all know about but another one I want to know if anyone else has noticed.
I have a human female character that I recently gave the "tons of little braids" look to. I've been noticing the color of her hair switches constantly. If I go inside it's one color, depending on the time of day outside it's another color. This is really annoying. Am i just nuts? I know it's not my video card flipping out (FX5900ultra) and I'm just wondering if this is new or is it an old issue I'm just now finding?

It's lighting. It's not that your hair is really changing colour, it's that the colour and position of the lights (or sun/moon) is affecting the way your hair looks. It happens a lot to me on Dathomir, only it's my whole body that changes colour (like blue) due to the way the lighting is on that planet.

I've had a similar issue (Radeon 9600 XT) where some bracelets, eyes and hair will all turn very bright red in certain situations (usually at night) and more recently one of my plains cats has been doing this as well,

YEp it's a lighting/shadows thing. I have the same hair and it looks different if I step under a tall tree or go indoors
