Thread: Floating an Idea

Not sure if anyone has come up with this so I'm sorry if I'm repeating this.

Was thinking about the ID profession and that it doesn't really do much for GCW or combat as such, which is what most of this game is geared for. However I was wondering why if an ID can change a person's appearance, why isn't faction points reset to zero?

There are numerious factions out there not just imperial and rebel, and I'm pretty certain a DNA scanner isn't standard issue! So why not allow ID's who change the appearance of someone to be able to modify certain faction standings? After all you can make someone look differently so why not be able to make someone look like an ally or enemy to a particular faction?

there has been ideas like this that pops up very so often, some IDers like them and some don't want a "critical function" as a dev once put it.

But for now it really does make sense to add any "critical function" until the XP gain issue for ID is addressed. As it is now with the right buffs a player can go from zero entertainer to Master ID in 1/2 hour, and adding any skill that a lot of players would want before we get a XP gain fix would make a joke of IDing.

We have gotten word that is being looked into by the devs.
