Thread: HARDCORE ID RANT DEVS PLEASE READ

1) The new way of interfacting is great to see what your customer will look like, but the timmer is annoying. When trying to image desgin yourself to climb up the ID ranks - lets face it no one else will volenter to help you- you find ourself waiting round for a minute
2)The new system is completly unfair to new image desingers, with so little image designers around and with the new method of stat migration, surley the proffesion would be made easyer, at least to begin with, i mean have dabblers in IDin isnt going to hurt. I tryed the Id prffesion as i do enjoy changing the way i look, But its stupidly hard. I mean no one else will help you so your stuck Idin yourself. This means that at the the very start of the Image desgining ladder you have to ID yourself 20 times (you get %0 points for modifying your own hair) and this takes a minimun of 20 minutes!! (This is in a tent waiting time is a 59 seconds). that means that just to achive entertainer 1xxx you must play for 20 minutes - MINIMUM, anyother profession would have you half way done in that time.
3)i did a search for ID's in Cornet and theed at peak time AND THERE WERE NONE - my stats are uneven and before i can take up a new combat prfession i have to find and image designer - NOT MUCH GOOD IF THERE NOT ABOUT!!

-if image designers now how the power to migrate stats then surley the proffesion should be made easyer to achive in. I undestand this new method would force Hologrinders into playing the game properly to some extent but with the new system coming in, is it really worth it?

How many times do I have to login to post? Guh!
yep. LOL.. Something else is smacking them in the face now. No more ID'ers around.Why wouldthey deny macro abilitytoa singleprofession when all others are available?Its because people were mastering it in 45minutes. I was sitting in the theed cantina playing a kloo and saw 3 people come in gloating they mastered in 45min using a certain 3rd party program. I screenshotted it and said 'Screenshotted!' Then a couple minutes later, I had to ignore the people due to things being said.. LOL
If they want to get rid of some things. I say get rid of the alt-tab'ing outa the game. Deny the double or more accounts being played on a single machine. Deny them from working on their third party program while online. Hell, dump macros all together! LOL

its now 12 hours after i made this post, i been to bed and logged back on. NOW awhile ago, i could have set up my stats that i wanted changeing, i would have logged back in, and hey presto the large majority of it would have been done. Great!
But no, now im stuck with stats that mean i cannot do what i want to do untill i find an image designer, well aint that great.
Ive done seraches in Theed, Corolag, and bestine - GUESS WHAT?? NONE
THANKS VERY MUCH DEVS FOR DOIN SOMETHING SO STUPID - Becuase of things like this, more and more people are leaving the game, its all over the forums, and people go without accouncing in, but you can tell the diffrence, servers have more and more ghoast towns, less players -AND LESS IMAGE DESIGNERS!! GRRRRRRRRRR

Yes I can see that ID takes an incredibly long time to master now, but the devs have said they're looking at this and may adjust the timers or XP at some point when the dust has settled on the recent changes.
As for finding IDs around, I can honestly say that I've never seen as many IDs around as I've seen recently. I originally took up ID because it seemed an intriguing fun profession that actually makes a difference to the game (unlike all the combat profs out there, who can destroy lairs until the cows come home, it'll nevere make a difference to the animal population) and they seemed so rare.
When I was working up ID I often had to walk around for days to find someone to train me (I was too poor to use the NPC trainers most of the time, and I know how hard it can be to get AppXP so I'd rather get a player to train me).
Nowadays I generally spend an hour or so in the ID tents every evening I'm on, and normally another ID will turn up at some point and they'll ask if I mind them moving into "my" tent, which I never do (especially as most of my session are pre-booked rather than people walking in off the street). But these days we rarely walk aroundnwith our MID tags on. Why? I like a quiet life and the deluge of impatient and rude tells ruin my night. If you check my bio, you can see MID is one of my two "... has mastered" tags, and I have a price list on my bio too, so anyone near me who takes a second to check can see what I am and what my terms are, and if they ask nicely can book a session.
PS as In said earlier in the similar thread (here) if you want your stats migrated or some IDing just send me a message and I'll try to sort out a time with you. I'd also be happy to train you as you work up ID. In fact if you catch me while I'm on a DE grinding session I might even be prepared to sit and be your ID practice dummy and click "Accept" every minute or two.
