Thread: The hardest thing I've had to do

First off, I'd like to say that I think the new interface is a definite improvement and we should all be glad for it. That being said, it doesn't feel right for me anymore. I very much enjoyed that no matter how much of a change people wanted, they would always leave things up to my judgement. Now that they can see what I'm doing as I do it, I feel less like an artist and more like a walking terminal. It's taken away the magic. I've lately found myself avoiding the ID tent unless a friend needs migration, and hiding my title. So as of yesterday, after nine months as a master image designer, I have dropped the title

I'll still be lurking around the forum, and I'm sure that after a while (if they ever fix xp gain) I'll be back. But for now, I have to say goodbye to the profession I love.

We'll miss you enormously Drakig. You were a huge asset to us, and your posts were always worth reading. We hope you'll return to our ranks. In the meantime, don't be a stranger. Just because you're no longer an ID, doesn't mean you don't understand the profession.

"You don't really rank around here unless you've been flamed by Oben, trolled by Mono, set straight by Geen, got caught in a love triangle between Cherry and Anoq, had your house decorated by Kipera, hugged by Esin, fondled by Fuschia, had IG respond with something inane and nonsensical, or at the very least been (a.) asked "can I have your stuff" or (b.) been accused of being a Todd by any number of random Tarquinian posters." --TalonKarrdeTN/Tyndaleon

Don't drop the profession, the skill points are worth it just to be able to do your own makeovers.
