yeah i know that almost no matter how you ajust your stats you cant wear an intire suit of armour you can only ajust it enough and then get buffed and eat spice or whatever, i just wanna know whats the best adjustment in the BH's Case. but a guide about this would be really cool.

There was a guide to wearing armor which touched on how it affects the different professions, basically...take the armor you want to wear and add up the encumberance. These final sums are the numbers you have to have to put the armor on...not to mention i'd be nice to have some stats left over so you don't immediatly die LOL. What I had to do was migrate my stats to the mind because it's always harder to find full mind buffs..if i do, great but otherwise it's muon and brandy to do the job. Then I seek out a doctor for buffs.

I spent the first 6 months of my life in this game as a Bounty Hunter. I bore witness to every level of NPC mark available, from the rediculiously hard, to the painfully easy, to the current. I migrated my stats as follows (i am a Human):

Health: 600
Action: 650
Mind: 550

Buffed once, and put on my full suit of 66%+ Composite. Watched the encumberance and set all secondaries to 1+ the total encumberance. Once the buffs wore off, I removed my suit, and split the remaining points evenly throughout the secondaries. I was now able to don my full suit on the fly. The regeneration and cost secondaries allowed me to push 4-5 specials per Stim-B. I could take most marks out w/ only one stim usage. I was incapped a grand total of 5 times during my entire progression through the Investigation tree (thanks to the marks who used 2.5k - 3k specials when mine failed).

Keep in mind, this layout was SPECIFICALLY tuned for BH Mark hunting, and did not fare well in PvE hunts. Hope this provides some insite.

Theres no need for any discussion on this.

If your combat, max your mind pool, then split the rest of your points in focus and willpower, and rely on buffs.

Yes, you will be reliant on buffs, but you will be unstoppable. Also, mind buffs power is based on your mind pools.

For instance, my human character has 400 400 400 Red, 400 400 400 Green 1100 Mind, 950 Focus, and 950 WIllpower.

When i mind buff with musician and dancer, and then doctor, given some lucky doc buffs, i can end up like i did this morning.

3750 3100 3345 3210 2950 3345 2200 1900 1900

Then mow two 440+ brandies, a muon, and a power boost, and two vagnarian canapes.

4300 3100 3345 3760 3345 4000 2700 2700

Thats not bad. After about 20 minutes, i can eat another brandy and canape, and end up at

4300 3100 3345 3760 4440 3000 3000

That does me pretty good hehe.

I love it when people call me a double buffer when im set up like this too.

Always makes me laugh.

Not true, my friend. I'm a female human, and I took my secondary stats to around500 or higher for each. This allows me to wear a GREAT suit of composite armor (74 kin 74 elec 63 base, some sliced for encumb, some sliced for up to 78 base protection), and I still have 45-200 points in each category to spare when I wear it. I'm by no means rich, either.

Keep in mind, some species have ceilings for different stats. For example, I believe Zabraks have max Strength and Constitution of 400 each.

And what happens when a tough NPC spawns while you fly by on your speeder and one-shot's ya? Off your bike you go, and they leasurely walk up and DB you. Relying on buffs is a nice way to go, but you're dead in the water if you're caught without them. In armor, I could usually take two good hits before dying, w/o buffs.

On a side note: That's one hell of a nice HAM setup.

Hello, i am sure the answer is probably in one of these posts. well, if it is just refer me to the spot and i will read it.

My question is if i can have my stats completley adjusted? For example, i chose artisian stats during the creation process and now i would like to have the stats of a marksman. Is this possible?

Yes, any Novice ID or better can do it for you. In your char sheet there is a button marked stat migration. Click that and then set your stats to how you want them. Once you are done, visit an ID and then they will start the ten minute process to finalize your selections.
