Hi folks,

In the skill trees for Entertainer, I see Wound Healing for Music and Dance. Then in the skill trees for Musician and Dancer, they have both Wound Healing and Battle Fatigue Healing as separate skills.

I'm a little confused here, since I thought any entertainer (even a novice) could heal battle fatigue... just slower than someone higher up. But the skills seem to indicate that you need to be at least Novice Musician or Novice Dancer to do BF healing.

What's up here?

The underlying question I have is "How many skill points to I need to invest in the Entertainer skill trees to actually be useful, even if slow?" I was planning on trying out Entertainer 0/4/0/4, but then I noticed that I may be unable to do any BF healing, which seemed odd.

Thanks,

Teev.

I think it might do you more good to post about this in the Dancer and or Musician forums. Image Designers would be generally clueless about this unless they were also Musicians and/or Dancers.

Yeah, you probably would have more luck in the Ent/Dancer/Musician forums. But, since I am also all of those 3 in various incarnations on different servers, I can answer for you.

Yes, you will definitely be very slow at it. But, as far as I know, you should be able to heal BF as soon as you pick up Novice Entertainer. Looking at the skill tree descriptions, it only looks like you get wound healing bonusses for each box you pick up. But, just today, to confirm my suspicions as I was levelling dancer on another server, someone was watching me and their battle fatigue appeared to be going down.

An experiment you can try on your own is acquiring some battle fatigue for yourself, then start dancing or playing music and see if your battle fatigue starts to go down. I'm pretty sure it will, but this will at least confirm any doubts you might have.

Sorry. I still don't know how this got posted here. I was reading the Entertainer forum at the time I pressed "New Message" and wrote the post.

I was wondering where it went so tried all the forums I had read today and finally found it here. Weird. I hadn't been in this forum for a long time when I wrote the post.

Some weird cookie problem with the browser or something. Sigh.

Thanks,

Even a Novice Entertainer can heal BF. But only inside a Cantina, or Player Structure.

Mind Wounds can be healed in Cantina's, Player Structures, AND camps.

There's an invisible mod for Battle Fatique healing at Novice Entertainer. Your ability to heal BF at an Entertainer level is tied to the dance or song you play. Higher levelEntertainment heals Mind wounds and BF faster (e.g. Formal heals more Mind and BF than Footloose does). You don't get a modifier toheal BFany faster than the base of that performanceuntil at least Novice Dancer/Musician.

All the BF and Mind wound mods mean is that all your songs heal faster the higher it is.

Personally, I suggest just Novice Entertainer, unless you'd like your performance to be interesting. You can heal BF and Mind Wounds just fine with that alone.
