While people re-roll all the time, let me assure you that I am about as new to SWG as it gets. I've had the game a total of 6 days and have had a devil of a time learning everything. While some have oodles and oodles of friends in game, being new has the disadvantage of making meno different than an NPCto many.Plainly put, finding someone looking to helpalong the way has been hard. Seems most people gripe about the grind but cannot wait to go right back to it without so much as a how-do-you-do. My experience with this wonderful Image Designer in Theedinspired menot only to tell others of my encounter, but to make my very first post because of it as well.
While looking to migrate my stats (on the recommendation of another helpful individual), I lucked into Ayree in the ID Tent next to the Theed Cantina. Originally, I just went in for the migration (I know, I know, y'all just hate that), but her professionalism won me over. Being a RL female (hard to believe, I know) I really was dissatisfied with the look I left the tutorial with just a few days ago. Her excitement in giving me a make-over was contagious. We proceeded to redo my hairstyle, my hair color, my eyebrow style, eyebrow color and even my eye color itself. She not only held my hand through these changes, but she refused to let me leave until I was 100% satisfied with the new 'me'. When I left the tent, all I could say was "wow...just wow".
Thank you, Ayree, for taking time out to role-play, to chat, and to be a wonderful ambassador for Image Designers everywhere!
While it is true that many of us ( including myself ) do not want to do stat migrations any more or at all, it is not because of players like yourself. An anamated customer is a joy to behold, and can easily fill a ten minute span of time to the point where you hardly notice it is over. The part that gets hard is when you have wave after wave of customers that don't like to talk, or worse yet just leave their computer desks as soon as the timer starts.
To all the good customers out there: Thank you for being you Most Impressive.
To those who don't much care to speak, please put forth a greater effort.
To the "haters"... please just go away, you cause me much stress. ![]()
