I am really looking forward to the User Interface. I have a Master ID on both Wanderhome and Kettemoor. On WH I traveled from Corellia to Dantooine to do ID work for some one. When I told him what he owed me, he just walked out. This new Real Time interface will help keep us from getting ripped off.
One solution(temp until the new UI goes in)to this is repeatedly tell him the price (per change whatever) befor you start and have him or her agree to it befor you start. You atleast then can /report them to the CSs and have some recorse. Report captures the chat log out of your buffer. Unfortunatly in Crowed cities like COrnet or in cantinas the chat buffer can fill-up fast so its best to be in a sucluded area.
Oh, BTW I am really feeling the Love Read My Signiture and you'll understand why.
Here is my how though involving bugs: maybe just maybe the new UI will not just be widow dreesing but a new ID system and would therefor end all the bugs(of course a new system would create new ones(had to thow some pesimoim in there sorry).
You know there's mention of "other stuff?" My theory? ID-ing Vendors.
Because there must be something to explain why the last three vendors I set up took me an hour each of create/examine/destroy to get ones that didn't look like somebody's fat mother or a crack addict...

Please don't assume anything in particular is on the table. Every week I do one or two new polls, and there's no way we're getting ALL that stuffNot even in our dreams
Ooops! Sorry,

My Guess isVendor ID-ing will be in publish 9, which is fine by me because we will already have to many customers to handle after 8 goes live. Judging by the polls, ID buildings and ID driods are currently on the dev table to be decided on.I also guessany new styles (hair, horns ridges, etc.) will be in publish 9 or maybe 10.
My guess is that *if* they are working on IDing NPC vendors it is something that would take awhile. Its something that a lot of people would like, but there are a lot of non-playable races that you can use as vendors and I am not sure that any art exists for these except for the default body type. I'm curious to see whether they are even dressable. I will have to check.

In the Weapons tent in New Unity on TC, there's a Devaronian with some sort of large cloak on. There are empty spaces beetween the neck and cloak.
However, since the ID'able charas (like wookies, humans, zabrak, etc... ) can be random-generated I would assume adding ID code for them is quite easy actually. Well... in relative terms. I know how coding works, and this even the best coders in the world couldn't make SWG without a few bugs. This baby is a behemoth of a program, and just thinking about the coding aspects makes me have nightmares...
if, else, endif, if, else, endif, if.....
Any word about allowing Image Designers to ID our vendors?
Nothing I dread more than having to re-placea vendor and have to try over and over again to get the look I want.
