What if changing specie would only change your look and not your stats or imps penalties?

That would fix the imperial problem AND the problem stated at top by the Dev Csr about stat switch fuss

-------------------

That would be fine with me. I dont want to see all those exploits. Wookies out of empire perks and it has to stay that way.

First off, the man said species, gender and breast changes weren't going to happen, so drop it already.

Can't give markings to people who didn't select it at creation (couldn't reproduce, tried with a zabrak female and male, more info?)

If the person trying to get their markings changed has the same color of markings as their skin it's not going to show up, so if this happens be sure to test change their markings so you can see if there's a problem or if your client was stupid during creation.

FOO007, I did say I love the idea for more customization. That's my job as an ID, after all: to make characters look different, unique, and desireable. How could I say no to making more changes available to IDs?

I still am not convinced that increasing the numbers on the slider or giving more available options for shoulder width, arm-leg ratios, leg-torso ratios, leg muscles, hip proportions, or anything else will change the fact that one set of options will make the 'toon look big and beefy and muscley and evil, and other sets of options are by definition substandard. The uniqueness that we crave comes from our wiring as humans to accept a narrow definition of standards as 'ideal.'

How many times have you gone through the server looking at people who aren't tall, buff, or big-breasted, without the latest haircut, and thought, 'I'll bet they just haven't gone to an ID yet.' Or do you say, 'Wow, look at that... very... bland looking person with the bad haircut!'

More options: bring 'em on. More diversity? Unless there are scout-specific hairstyles, entertainer-specific hairstyles, marksman-specific body shapes, slider ranges bound to character stats, we won't get the diversity. Even if there are we won't get diversity, because most of the people who use an ID's services to become buff and evil are the buff 'n' evil players: marksmen, bounty hunters, brawlers. I just don't see people wanting any other extreme than grotesquely tall and thin, or comically short and fat. Adding options will just make more waysfor them to be those two extremes.

Remember, there is no I in team, but there is an I in "Oedipus."

FOO007, that's wishful thinking, really. I love the idea of more customization for the shape of the body. I just don't think it will have the effect of making everyone unique. As a master ID I can tell you that of all the requests I get for height adjustments, 60% of them are "make me as tall as possible." 30% of height requests are "as short as possible." 70% of all breast requests are "as big as possible." 90% of all muscle requests (from male characters) are "as many muscles as possible." My experience as a master ID tells me that if there's a way to make your character big, buff, muscley, and evil-looking, everyone will have it -- except for the people who are short, fat, or comical -- and except for the very few who are trying to be true to Star Wars.

I agree to a point. The intent of my idea was to exploit the fact that people have very different ideas of what good proportioning is. Some people really like, thin, athletic torsos. Some like extremely curvy, voluptuous ones.

I would expect your business to go from: Make me as tall and busty as possible, to: can you make me taller, my waist thinner, and my breasts larger? And: Make me as muscular as possible, to: gimme more muscles and make my shoulders wider. Personally, I believe that we'd see a better mix of body types in the cantinas if they implemented this, as it's primarly the dancers that fall into the skinny with big hooters category and congregate in one area. At least we'd see hourglass-shaped with big hooters, athletic with big hooters, average with big hooters and the ocassional "other" thrown in!

Regardless, for those of us that do take advantage of the diversity offered, it'd by to be able to.

And frankly, while I like the idea of facial changes, the majority of the time you can barely see anyone's face properly or with any detail because of hardware limitations and the terrible lighting in the game. And I think more hairstyles is a given.

Ugh... species/gender change? Who the hell would want that in an MMORPG... GAH! (In case you didn't notice, I bolded, italicised, and underlined RPG... as in, you choose your race/gender/name, and you play as it... and if you don't like it, you go make a new character...)

Ok, I've submitted this bug numerous times...now I'm posting it.

At least daily, when I do IDs on myself for either how tall I am or how much I weigh...the slider seems to have a mind of its own. I'm at the maximum for heigth (108), after I practice on myself (re-putting in 108), I go down by one I.E. Now Im at 107. Next time I do it, I've gone down one more. In other words as the game progresses I'm shrinking. AND gaining weight. Its no big thing, just makes me wonder I sure hope folks that we work on are not shrinking too... If anyone has a chance just practice on yourself on body items and see if it effects you. This has happened more times then I can count, this is not an err in my court.

On a completely unrelated note, I like the color choices. I would LOVE the same amount of color choices that humans get for eye shadow (60 plus) for hair color and skin colors. DEVS...as weird as this is people want pink hair or shiny chrome bodies. Personaly, i'd LOVE to be able to do metalic shades. After all this is Sci-fi. Wouldnt be hard to implement, as most of the color choices are all ready there.

One request only. Do the easiest thing out there. Give the image designers a *&$%#$% razor. So they can make someone all bald. This should be the most basic ID fuction.

having customer close image design box in uppper right hand corner then having them accept next hairstyle and then destroy wig in inventory is just fast as as shaving a head really. Both end up with same effect. Bald. Would rather they spend the time on the **edit** twi'lek female eyebrow colors than add a "bald" when we can do bald anyway with the workaround.

With hairstyles they need to add a number in one corner of it so that they are easier to remember. I am trying to keep a notebook log of my customers and without a number next to the hairstyle I have to try and figure out what one is what. And another gripe I have is the fact that once I change a hair color I have to log out and back in to see the result STILL. They also need to do what they did with the inventory, add a lighter shade to the selected hairstyle so they are easier to see. When I go to hairstyle a man the styles are a dark brown and hard to see against the background. These would be welcome additions. and also if its not too much trouble make all the ID Work fit in one box...all those annoying little ones all scattered over the screen get to be a pain in the rump.

The holocron made me! Yes, it told me to master ID.

How many months has it been since SWG went live, and in only one day I've experienceda bunch ofbugs that I've noticed getting lots of mention on these boards. Will they ever be addressed?

The two biggies:

1. crash to desktop after ID

2. person getting stuck with 'outstanding image design request'
