FuschiaD, the waitress analogy does fit because I was not responding to a statement saying I should charge for my services, I was responding to a statement telling me I should ask for tips. I think we can both agree there is a difference between charging and asking for tips.
My only comments about charging for services was that if it was based on time then hairstyles/colors would end up being about the same rate as stat migrations in many cases.
Wow Mawie, how surprising is it that you have to bring your snide, pointless comments into another thread after grandiosely saying "case closed"

I'm sitting here laughing right now. I honestly think you need to back off because I don't give a hoot about you and the childish, cliche names you fling at me.
TWICE in TWO threads you give a weak argument as to why IDs shouldn't be paid, and went as far as to say you feel sorry for us. I just feel sorry for you and want to bring you to the light side.

Actually nothing about you pisses me off. I just pity you. You are so sad, you are not even worth a laugh. Well maybe a snicker at how impressively boring and repetitious you are. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds does it? I sure hope you send sony a bill for all your precious time you are spending posting. I do feel sorry for you though.

Uhh, please scroll back to the previous posts. I've already used the * rolls eyes* on you. Try to maintain some sort of originality before Im bored completely to tears. I might have to loop a recursive macro to answer your bland dull posts, and go afk to do something even moderately entertaining.

lol...goodness.... I don't think I've seen the word hypocrisy used so many times in one day...like I'm watching the movie Tombstone or something...now who is repetitive? Really I think most IDers believe in charging at least something for their services...it is a job ya know. It's my source of income actually.

Why do you give away your services? It's never been about the money for me, but my time is worth something, and by not charging, I would make image designers worth less overall for my server. I don't want to do that for anyone, because not everyone is fortunate enough to have money from other sources. At least charge for tips.
Read the "disturbing trend" thread. She is more than vocal about why.
