this is the closest thread i found so far for this topic, and is 4 - 5 pages down, not everyone is going to take the time to read through 50 posts or more when they can start a new one and get the answers they need.
I work for tip and when it comes to getting bad tips I'm pretty civic about it. If they cant afford to pay much then it's fine, as long as they appreciate the time I spend serving them and making them pretty/handsome.
I've always just charged 1000 crds / Minute, that tends to work out for me.
Detective Jameson, Ahazi " The Few, The Proud, The Male Image Designer"
I've been using a fixed price system for a few days now, and it's working soo well! I have not once had a customer complain about my prices. And all customers have tipped me for more than I asked them to pay (I charged a guy 4k yesterday and he tipped me 8k). Having a price system doesn't mean I am totally strict about it, of course. I gave a novice entertainer a new hairstyle for free yesterday, for instance. It just prevents me from being ripped off by those 100 credits tippers, at least so far.
I just got master image designer last night, so I only have 1 night's worth of experience on being a master myself. (My rl husband was the first master ID on ahazi after release, so I have some prior experience).
Last night I told everyone 'I just got master, I haven't set up a price scheme yet, so just tip me what you think it's worth.'
My tips ranged from 1k (for a simple hairstyle) to 10k (skin color, lekku pattern, pattern color, lipstick, and eyeshadow). So all in all, I think it was a successful night. (I did change one guy's hairstyle for free, because a noob ID in the cantina had changed his hair, and he couldn't set it back...not gonna charge a guy for that, especially when he KNEW which hairstyle he wanted).
I am getting very sick of the zabraks asking for mohawks, tho. I keep telling them that I won't be privvy to popping the horns off a zabrak, and why would a zabrak be willing to lose his horns anyway. They still won't leave me alone. And no, I won't tell anyone how to change hairstyles outside of their race, even though I know how.

If anyone was reading the horror story on the previous page about WookieeX and his 100 credit tip the sagacontinues....
Later on, that same day, I am in the Coronet cantina, and WookieeX walks in. Thankfully I have him on /ignore. To my astonishment WookieeX is short and fat again, hours after the incident at my shop. He's doing all the sorts of things that are an annoyance- sitting onme, standing right on top of me, and I'm sure some emotes and other language (which I thankfully could not hear).
My friend is a master image designer, and he happened to be playing music in the cantina - so I sent him "if WookieeX wants a makeover, don't do it! He tipped me 100 credits, and called me a "ho". Master ID friend responds "oh too late - I made him short and fat last night [i.e. the image design I was called upon to "fix"] and short and fat again today. Both times he tipped me 2000 credits."
To recap: 100 credits to me, 4000 credits to my (male) friend.
Meanwhile, my Master TKA friend is challenging WookieeX to a duel and threatening to rip off WookieeX's various body parts. I couldn't help it, I took off ignore to hear the whole conversation. Anyway, after they finished their threatening (boys!), WookieeX comes over and BANKTIPS ME 1 CREDIT! I reported him.
Two days later I receive a "hi" from WookieeX. That's not a can of worms I want to open. /addignore.
