Hmm. I guess, in the Tailor forums, I'm YOUR Padawan.
I can live with that.

Out of the boards that i visit I love this one the most. Everyone is so sweet and even those that get mad usually have been nice lol. I have been telling my clients to check out our forums lately bc I am so proud of this group.
(Sorry I am on a color binge today lol) Thank you all for being patient with me especially when I am not thinking or reading things right....(like earlier today hehe).
You're the greatest babies! hehe

I've been pretty busy and not reading the forums much lately, but I found your posts and deninjafied them! Now I can get one-starred instead!

I am the poster child for casual gaming. I started playing this game august 3rd and decided i wanted to go the ranger path. In my slow rise to power (snicker), I have mastered scout and am close to mastering ranger. Right after the christmas holocron giveaway (mine said rifleman), I decided that I wanted to try image design, more as a rp element than anything else. I haven't macro'd my way thru any of my three jobs and don't really care that others do. I feel I learn the profession better earning the xp the way it was intended..i.e. harvesting, camping, doing hair, changing facial features. I like to play my toon as a neutral traveler who is not impressed with either faction and helps others who are seeking shelter and a new face to keep one step ahead of their pursuers.
Now that i have bored you with that...
When I heard that there was going to be an update to the image design profession, I got really excited. I have seen how other jobs have been scaled up and was REALLY impressed with the new droid publish (not to mention I have been really sad since rangers are now mostly obselete). Against my better judgement, I got an ID macro from a fellow ID'er and was all set to try to get as close to master as i could before the mini-publish. I followed the forums here with anticipation at all the speculation at new ID abilities and improvements to old. Then I saw the screenshots.
I am not a programmerbut I can appreciate all the hard work that these guys put in to this game. I don't demand my every need or whim be addressed yesterday just becauseI pay my monthly fee. Games like this are a work in progress and are ever evolving as the flow of the game changes. Having said that...
It makes me sad. Don't label me as a negative poster. I am trying to be positive, and I am of course reserving my final...final sounds too demanding...let's just say judgement of the mini-publish til it is actually published. However, I really don't see where these 'holo-emotes' are going to fit in to the game. I have read people describing them as party favors...to be a temporary fun thing and i am cool with that, except I haven't seen any parties...at least not on my server anyway since i have started playing. I saw parties all the time in another mmorpg i used to play where these would be awesome (anarchy online), but I just don't see the validity of them here..in this game...at this time.
Thank you devs for your hard work. I really enjoy the worlds you have created for us to play in, but on this particular idea...I think you missed the point that other ID'ers have stated so well here before me: It's about communication.

Very often, being "positive" or "up" IS THE SAME AS being a doormat. Docile sheep get nothing fixed. It's firey passion that gets wheels moving (especially in this game). Number of positive changes gained by negative comments: every single good change

Apparently I had a post deleted... although I'm not entirely sure why, I've posted MUCH worse stuff than that. Okay... it's possible for me to be polite, but it is NOT possible for me to gloss over something I think is a terrible idea, and I'm not going to do it to appease the developers or anyone else.
I've received several indications recently that my posts are not welcome on the boards any longer, and for that,I will be taking a break from the forums. Maybe permanent, maybe not. I'm just fed up with a lot of things right now, not the LEAST of which is thecontent that is about to be loaded into the profession that I love so much. It was a HUGE disappointment to me, especially when we were all expecting something else. I cannot pretend to be excited, and I cannot pretend that I am not unhappy. But if this forum would be better off without me, I will take my leave.

Critical is good, I'm not saying we should be doormats if we don't like something. But there has been a lot of name calling and negativismin this forum as of last night
It is possible to be critical in a constructive and positive (meaning in such a way that the criticism is more information than emotion) way.

There comes a point when the insult is too grave to continue to be cheer-leadery about it. The stat migration change coupled with the lack of communication was that point for me. I've gotten more "**edit**"s in my posts since it was announced than in all 975 previous posts combined. In case this doesn't clue you and everyone else in, I feel that this whole process has been an incredible insult to a profession I love, and to me personally. I don't react kindly to such insults.
