Thread: What are your customers asking for that they can't get?
In the SWG book (the one that comes with the deluxe edition, not the strat guide), there is a drawing of a wookiee female with pigtails. It's so cute! as a dancer, it is my wish to look nice while I dance. I want for wookiee's (especially us girls)...
1. Pigtails. (with optional ribbon - choice of color) I would love this. with little blue ribbons.
2. Braids. I would love long flowy braids. We certainly have enough head hair for it.
3. Dreads. This would look neat, even on the guys. messy rasta dreads might be weird, but it would be a nice option.
3. Cornrows. These might be a little odd as they have to keep close to the head, but it would be interesting to see.
4. The ability to braid bells or ribbons into the hair around the head, waist, forearms, and possibly ankles. It would be cool perhaps if artisans could make the bells as a type of jewelry, then the image designer can use the bells to braid it into the hair. This could do well with other species as well (head hair), or perhaps bells on ribbons for Twi'kek Lekku.
Everyone wants Tats.
Tats for everyone everywhere. And none of this Zab only stuff. Zabs have horns. Do humans have horns? Do Rodians? Do wookies?
Are we going to start poking out eyes and chopping off toes cause only one race should have them?
How about this for a new thread - Which body feature would your race be willing to give up so that Zabs don't have an identity crisis if other races are allowed facial tattoos?
I am not yet a master (so some of these may be available and I've just not seen it yet) but I've received a request for the following:
1. Complete baldness.
2. Breasts for male characters. (Yes, really. Maybe he wanted to roleplay a transexual?)
3. Braids and tiebacks for wookies.
4. Scars.
5. Tattoos and scarifcation or shaved patterns in fur.
6. Long beards.
7.Wild and radical hair colors. Women especially want their hair to match their lipstick.
8. Ribbonsfor the hair.
9. Longer or shorter lekku.
10. Lekku twisted around one anotherand evenstanding up.
11. Hooked nose. Think Crispin Glover or Glenn Close. People want noses with characters.
12. Lip color forhuman males. Take a look ata mirror or your male co-workers, devs. Men often have lip colors which do not match their skin color.
13. More frills for Rodians. They don't want to be so bald.
14. Scale patterns. Face it, most humans don't think of all scaley things as being one solid color. They think of delicate geckos, scary diamondbacks, and gorgeous but deadly gila monsters.
15. More hairstyles for every species.
16. More colors for everything.
17. People who get their hair color or stylechanged want others to be able to see that change correctly WITHOUT being forced to log out. Everyone can see everything else that is changed, what the hell is wrong with people's hair?

Just to reiterate what has already been said, colors need to be expanded, more styles introduced and overall more liberty to further customize a characters appearance. I for one took my time at creation and paid attention to every detail on my character and would not allow anyone alter my face/body in any way. Yes, we have new hairstyles but it wouldn't be better if we can really be a "personal trainer" (a title they granted to theID who masters body customizations) and reshape a body. It has been mentioned earlier and I believe the idea is awesome. You should be able to target body parts. At least hips, thighs, waist, buttocks, chest and arms to customize according to what one wants. For example,at creation, to have a butt you have to make you entire body bigger. I am a woman and I want to be able to have a character that has a butt without having to make her obese all around.
The whole concept of the ID is a great idea but they really need to let us be valued. Not just grant a few token hairstyles and send us on our way. Most of what I do is corrective work for people who rushed their character at creation. I should not have to hope that people botch up their character so I have a job.
Someone asked me today if anything was done for ID's in todays patch and I snickered and said "ID's are the **edit** stepchildren of SWG." I apologize for the harsh remark but this is how I feel about how this profession is being treated. There is so much hope and promise for the job of an ID'er but we are being suppressed and ignored. Unfortunately, I fear ID'ers will eventually become extinct if nothing is done to make them more valued. Eventually, the few new styles granted, which only the same 2 or 3 are selected, will get old. If everyone has the same style, even if it is awesome, do you really want it. I don't.
Anyway, started as a suggestion but got off on a tangent leading to ventingmy frustrations. Thanks for hearing my cries and reading this to the end.

I think more hairstyles and colors for hair are needed. I have had requests for multi-colored (highlighted) hair styles too.

SCARS.....like scars on the face.. I mean how cool would it be ....
Zabraks have tatoos, then they could have scars on their face also pierceings....
I'm a male Bothan, and I want a goatee. Check the art book that came with the collector's edition if you have it. There's a concept art drawing of a Bothan with a goatee tied up, as if with a rubber band. I'd love to have one of those.
And I know this isn't an ID issue, but why are there no cloaks you can wear with the hood up over your head? (or maybe I just haven't found any.) There's a bothan medic by the starport in Tyrena, Corellia who wears a clok like this, and it looks awesome. I guess the devs are just worried everyone would wear them.
Hi I'm not an Image designer but I play a Rodian. Would love to have an eyepatch. Possibly teeth. Or the ability to set how my face looks. Constantly scowling or something.
Best,

BlueCelt, you can set a /mood that will in some cases change your character's demeanor and expression. Try the control-A window, moods tab, and see which moods have a visual component to them.
The eyepatch is a great idea, though. ![]()

1) Twi'lek eyebrow changes
2) Non-Zabrak tattoos
3) Male Human flat-top style hair cut
4) Female Zabrak spiral hair with horns (as seen on an NPC)
5) Adjusting musculature for upper/lower body independently (mainly because to get reasonably athletic looking legs on a female Human or Twi'lek dancer, you also have to accept huge shoulders.)
